TLDR: extremely poor customer service, grossly unclean restaurant.
To start, I am the type of person to give the benefit of doubt when it comes to dining out. When visiting this restaurant this evening we ordered 3 meals (burger meal, chicken strip meal, kids meal). We received our meals, sat in the restaurant, and began to eat. I returned to the attendant with our French fries and asked for 2 new medium fries as the ones we had been given were lukewarm at best. The attendant took the fries, dumped them in the garbage, filled 2 new medium fry containers and then left them in the heater tray while dropping new fries in the fryer. He then brought me our "new" fries. I sort of gave him a sideways look, to which prompted a "Here you go. Can you tell me if these are good? I'm not sure." Without hesitation or raising my voice I replied "You're serving me these fries and you're not sure if they're good or not?" He returned a blank stare and didn't know what to do. There was no amends to provide us with fries from the new batch, to speak to a manager, nothing. Honestly I shook my head and walked away disgusted and disappointed.
Speaking of disgusting, the seating of this restaurant was absolutely gross. Between dirty tables, a floor that looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in days, and walls and dividers covered in greasy handprints that I couldn't tell you how long they've been or will be there before being cleaned - I am sufficiently grossed out to the point we will not be returning.
To be clear, this is a Wendy's/Tim Hortons combo restaurant. The Tim Hortons side of this restaurant, although not completely spotless, was a FAR sight better. The tables were all clean, unlike the Wendy's side which had leftover sauces and trays still on tables. The TH side floor was actually incredibly clean, whereas the Wendy's side looked like it hadn't been...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting. I work night and Wendy’s being the closet and one of the only places open I thought it would take minimal time and considering the hour of night (11:00) they wouldn’t be too busy. Only one other car in the drive through it still managed to take almost the entirety of my break. Come to order they say the opening line and ignore me after wards. Then they proceeded to shut the screens off. After close to 10 minutes of waiting my order is taken. I get back to work only for my food to be stone cold and disgusting. The fires had zero salt and were hard almost chilled my tooth hard and my chicken strips had tasted like they had sat out for at least 4 hours under the warmer. I worked fast food for 4 years I know what a strip tastes like after sitting under a lamp for that long. Needless to say I was sad so I decided to try and call to see if I could get any consolation. Only to be ignored until they 3rd call when they pick up the phone say nothing and hang up on me. Truly the worst Wendy’s I have ever been to and I have never in my life needed to review a place for such things until now. Not even a McDonald’s( sad in my opinion because I used to think Wendy’s was better) but again the most horrific disgusting experience and...
Read moreThe new manager has made this place atrocious! They make you wait until the person in front of you has left the drive thru before they even take your order now, and she said hello three times and then kept ignoring me. This place used to be one of the best fast food places in town, but the last few times I've gone it's been a disaster. The new "manager" is rude and dismissive. Coupons all of a sudden don't work? And when I pointed out that she's not very good at her job, she started YELLING AT ME AND CALLING ME RACIST IN FRONT OF MY LITTLE CHILDREN.
I will never be back and I hope head office does something about this....
