Mulberry's — Restaurant in Port Colborne

Called last Thursday to order and assorted sub and was quoted 45 minutes so I cancelled my order today I ordered another two assorted Subs at 8 p.m. I was quoted a half an hour so arrived at 8:30 p.m. and the gentleman said it's going to be a few moments and I glanced around the counter and noticed the subs haven't even been started yet so I just decided to cancel my order again trying to support local is very hard when a simple submarine sandwich is an hour wait I work in the restaurant industry so I am aware of lack of Staffing and as well as the high demands from customers however very frustrating and discouraging!!!!!!

I have been a frequent customer throughout the year so this is definitely not a fluke I've had similar situations happen but always willing to give a second or third chance I think some time management in the kitchen needs to be considered or reconsidered I should say again very disappointing I always look forward to...

Friday night order was quoted for 1hr on a single tray at 5pm. Totally normal wait time when busy. I gave them til 6:20 to be safe. When I arrived the place was empty. The pizza still wasn't ready and by 6:30 when I politely asked the remaining time I was met by an rude gentlemen (baker) who said "fine ill take it out right now!". Pizza was 30mins later than expected and undercooked.

Other staff were polite but quiet, tension felt in the atmosphere possibly due to the previously mentioned baker?

Ingredients were quality.

It was an odd experience considering the high competition for pizzerias in Port Colborne.

As this was my first experience I'm undecided between trying again or simply going to one of the other 6 places...

For the last year or so, my soon to be sister-in-law has been telling me all about the subs from here “being THE best”. Well, last night during a girls night, I finally went in with her to order some to go… and let me tell you, she was not exaggerating! First of all, everything about them were so fresh and simply delicious. Great portions and pricing. It’s also such an absolutely adorable spot and the owner was super sweet! Anyway, fast forward to this evening, now my fiancé also won’t stop raving about them too and how badly he wants their subs again tonight! 🤣 (Ps. We had meatball and assorted subs with hot peppers which were to die for!!). Needless to say we cannot wait to order from...
