My wife's family visited Port Colborne for stay cation. This restaurant was highly rated and we wanted to try it out. There was a long wait for table as we were a party of 11. We told the server we can take separate tables to make it quicker. We still ended up waiting about 30-40 minutes. The restaurant decor is nice and thoughtfully decorated. There are antique bicycles hanging from the ceiling and Thai inspired paintings on the wall. The dining table had some scrapbook style design under the glass top. It was unique and cool. We were excited to try the food. My mother-in-law ordered the bulgogi bowl with egg. My wife ordered the Mongolian beef and I ordered the chicken pad thai. The bulgogi bowl was loaded with fresh cut cucumbers, carrots, green onions. The ginger soy sauce lacked punch of flavors. I do recommend mixing up everything like a bimbimbap. The Mongolian beef had a orange citrus taste. The beef was tender and it was served with green onions and sesame seeds. I had the chicken pad thai. The noodles cooked perfectly and there's plenty of chicken, tofu and bean sprouts. There was a hint of spice in this dish. We also added an order of duck spring rolls. The filling was tasty and spring rolls were big. The only critique I would say is to frie the spring rolls longer to get it crispier. Overall, the ambiance and service was really good. The food is catered to Western/ Canadian pallets so some may feel the food doesn't feel authentic.

Had a very good dinner, at The Smokin’ Buddha in Port Colborne on June 22nd. A wonderful time, good conversation, with Ladies Only group we meet once a month for dinner. Ilana, Lesley, Kelly, Ellen, Nancy and Dawn. We had not been here before but, no doubt, it won’t be our last. We loved that the restaurant is open to a very large welcoming patio with ample seating inside. I ordered a Jerk Chicken Bowl: spicy jerk chicken served with Caribbean rice, mangoe coleslaw, crispy plantain chips. Whoa it was so delicious, I loved it!!! I’m definitely going to have that again. ❤️❤️❤️ I don’t remember what all the ladies had, but 2 had the, I think, bison burger which they said was very very delicious. We all had different drinks and all were good. It was very busy regardless, the service and attentiveness of our wait staff ladies was great. Highly recommend. A definite must. ❤️😍😎👍🏻

We loved our meal choices. We went there for a late lunch - early dinner after a day at the beach. It was around 4 o'clock therefor it wasn't too busy yet. The dinner crowd hadn't arrived. We sat on the patio. There was plenty of shade under their tented section on this bright sunny day. The service was very good and quick. I'm not a local, but I could imagine that the place is hopping in the evenings and lunches. I didn't go inside the restaurant but I did see that it has an indoor- outdoor feel with doors that open onto the patio. Also, I very much appreciated that the menu had choices for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, in addition to mainstream popular choices. It's hard to find these kinds of places so it's nice to be able to find a restaurant that has a sense for delicious food and healthy choices. I enjoyed it very much and I highly recommend it.

We had a lovely little dinner at The Smokin' Buddha earlier this week. It was our first time there, which surprised our server - they must get a lot of repeat customers, and I can see why after eating there. The prices are great and the menu was very diverse and interesting. Our server was great at helping us navigate the menu and making suggestions based on our preferences. We shared the Pork Gyoza and Crab Rangoon dip to start, and shared the Korean Noodles and Nasi Goreng for our mains. Everything was super tasty - the Korean Noodles were a little bit on the salty side, so I'm glad we were sharing and had the Nasi Goreng to balance out the flavours. They had some really great non-alcoholic beer options as well - it was nice to try something new and different besides the standards. The wine selection was a bit underwhelming, but as a pretty small spot, I can see why they would have fewer options than most places. A couple of cons would be that the water they were serving was warm - it was a hot day and the water seemed like it had been sitting out in pitchers for hours. Ice was provided when I asked, but it would have been great to get a nice cold glass of water from the get go. Also, the women's washroom had a super strong chemically smell. The bicycles hanging from the ceiling are a cute touch, but the one over the open kitchen was looking like it could use a really good cleaning. Overall it was a good visit and we will...

Waiter service was TERRIBLE! Waited over 30 minutes and waitresses would plainly ignore. A waitress (Brunette) had the nerve to make small talk with some customers who were obviously drunk and done with their meals for about 15 minutes NEXT TO US!!! (Literally 2 feet from us). After she was done, she just pretended we didn't exist or something and left. That was very funny though. She didn't even bothered to see if we were being attended already.

My mom noticed some people who came around 20 minutes after us and were served right away by the same brunette waitress. Unbelievable.

There were not many people at all (few tables unoccupied) Had to check with bartender about ordering. He asked if a waiter served us already (after 30 minutes) and we answered no. He said: "oh, wow". Chris (bartender) was so nice, he brought us drinks to our table and completed our order instead of the waitresses; which is their job. Fire the waiters. I would if it was my business. At the very least they should attend a customer service class. Give a raise to Chris. He was so nice and did the waitress' job.

I didn't get the waitress' name. Doesn't matter. Rude people deserve no recognition (or a very generous tip). Lol.

Terrible service. Food was OK. RUDE waitresses/waiters. We went there around 9:20 pm.

In summary, I wouldn't...
