The Good, The Bad and the UGLY. We were a party of 12 that made a 5 pm reservation for dinner on a Saturday and...we were the only table for at least 25-30 mins in the restaurant. They do a brisk take out business and dine in is steady. The Good: food is reasonably priced, served hot and seasoned overall properly. The Bad: They didn't have enough frint of house staff(2) to serve, answer phones, take orders, puut together take out. No one is in charge of expediting food. I know this having worked in the food industry for decades and...1/2 our table got their order and while the other half wait 40, yes 40 mins for theirs??? All the while take out orders are flying out the door. UNACCEPTABLE having been in business for years...you should know how to run things by NOW. UGLY: add insult to injury mandatory 16% gratuity on a party of 10 or more. We are not going back. Was it a one off...in the restaurant business if you don't have it figured out after you have been jn business for years then it is not a one off. We were the only table in the entire place for 25-30 mins seated in the entire restaurant. No other serving staff arrived before we...
Read moreThey have the worst servers I have ever seen. Three girls who spend the majority of the time in the back, playing on their cell phones. Why are you here if you are on your phone? Stay home or quit! It is offensive! And the owners must really have some issues to keep such waitresses around. These waitresses ignore the customers, so you have to keep going and asking them in the back, for service. And they have the GALL to ask for a tip?
Try to get some take out boxes for food, and be prepared to fight them to get boxes. They will never give you what you need. Should I stuff the soup and noodles into my pockets?
They never turn their OPEN sign off! At 2 AM, when the world is asleep, except for a few, their sign is on. Are you SO lazy you can't turn that off?
It is pathetic.
The food USED to be good. It still is but it seems they have decided to get greedy. Portions have reduced 25%. Yet, they have increased the prices. So, you are paying more $...

The food is consistently amazing, with fresh, healthy ingredients and authentic Vietnamese and Thai recipes that keep us coming back. The service is exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring.
Today, I had a particularly rough day.
My bank card wasn’t working due to an overused chip, and I had to run to the bank to get a temporary card just to pay for my meal. It was embarrassing, but the owner’s kindness turned my day around.
Not only was she understanding and patient, but she went above and beyond by offering me a lovely iced rooibos tea on a hot day, ensuring I left with a smile. This level of compassion and hospitality is rare and truly special.
H & P Noodle House is hands-down my favorite spot in Port Coquitlam for Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. I can’t...
