Editing my review, March 2021: Went in a few weeks ago excited to buy the new tumblers. Assumed a drink was included with purchase, same as the jars used to be but found out afterwards this was not the case. Not a big deal.. until the following happened.
What was disappointing however was the 2nd staff member NOT wearing his mask. His friend entered the store and they chatted animatedly while he should have been making our drinks. Instead, he made his friends drink first while we were still waiting. The staff member then told me there was no coconut left and I had to change my order (his friend misheard and said "coconut taro is so good!!") The 1st staff member (who had taken my order) looked confused that this persons order was ready before ours, and that there was no coconut left, which leads me to believe staff #2 used the last of the coconut knowing his friend was coming in shortly, screwing me out of my drink. I changed my order to chocolate banana instead of chocolate coconut, and ended up just getting banana. Which means he wasn't reading my original order correctly OR listening when he asked me!
VERY disappointed that proper covid protocols are not being followed - a customer should not have to ask you to put on your mask! We felt unsafe, and disrespected. Not sure we will be back. Too bad we're stuck with the tumblers after this disappointing experience.
Read another review saying they got a free dessert when their order was out of stock... we weren't offered anything, not even an apology for the lack of a mask. I didn't expect anything for lack of product, but feeling respected would have been nice.
July 2020 review: 5 stars! This is my favourite bubble tea place, and the only one I've found that has popping pearls as a topping. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and also patient while I figure out what I want to order. LOTS of different options on their menu to choose from, and they are usually working on a new food item to introduce as well. Not all of the options are classic bubble tea - you can also purchase slushes or smoothies with toppings! There is something for everyone here. Blend regularly updates and posts on their social media, and they take time off/close the shop for personal reasons and care - which I appreciate. They closed for Father's Day to spend time with their dads! Very wholesome. It is refreshing to see a business which takes their own self care and lives into account rather than letting capitalism be their sole driver. I am thrilled to see they are still thriving during the pandemic.

Ordered a brown sugar milk tea with pearls that had almost no taste to it. Pearls were a bit hard and tasteless as well. I had probably 2 sips and I went to complain. The worker told me that that's how the drink is, and the taste is from the brown sugar on the sides of the cup. No apologies, no offers to remake it. (Check the other negative reviews here.. quite the common issue with this place)
I didn't bother to press the issue, as I am sure their attitudes would just be once again reflected in the quality of their product.
For anyone reading this, despite its neighborhood location, if you are really hurting for "bbt" or some snacks to eat, I highly suggest making the effort to take a longer drive and not be ripped off.
I used to like this place and love to support local. BUT, the business also needs to support its customers if there is a legit and reasonable concern.

Read moreTerrible Experience tonight. I ordered Berry Mango, had to repeat it thrice. The server was not paying attention. In the end had to point to the Menu what I was ordering. Vanilla pearls are out or not serve had to settle for other toppings.
Background music was too loud. What was that about?
Noticed that people in-line behind me got their order first.
I wasn't told I would have to wait too long for a single drink. Waited patiently for 45 minutes or more, only to be told that my order was not done and that they had no idea what I ordered even though I paid for it already. Had to repeat for the fourth time what my order is. That's just too much.
Expected me to wait again. So, I stated I can no longer wait.
I had a long day and all I want was a cold drink.
Paid 7.45 dollars, waited too long. Walk-off nothing on-hand. No Refund. NOTHING!!!
Please fix your ordering system!!! Tell the customer wait times. Give a number or something. Hire a server who actually cares and knows customer service.
