Stardust Restaurant — Restaurant in Prince Rupert

We ate dinner with kids 5.30 pm. The food was average. Contrary to my husbands exeprience midweek. The server was very accomodating and polite. The asian film on one of the monitors was playing an extremly violent film. We asked to change the channel as we didnt think the kids should see it, I as an adult didnt want to see blood and gore whilst I ate. They refused and said it was the only station in Chinese. Our meal was on the table.... I felt angry. You cannot ignore that kind of violence. It was a number of fights involving two men and they were totally bloody. It kept returning to the same fight. I will not return. This is upsetting they recieve so many good reviews and people seem to love it. Take...

The food quality was ok....the chicken chow-mein lacked flavour....I also ordered a dish that has noodles, onions, green peppers, and carrots....my 1st few bites, I couldn't help but notice, I got mouth fulls of raw onions....there was one piece of a sliced carrot, and two pieces of a green pepper....half of the dish was just raw onions....I told my concerns to the server....her only resolve was for me to instruct them "next time", to put less onions in the dish....I wanted resolve while I was still there....I did not eat the raw onions, but instead stacked them up on the plate....it's sad that some businesses can get away with such poor customer...

I found Stardust to be a busy place , in a wonderful way . I was lucky enough to be there when there was a social gathering of friends on the 1 side of restaurant , while I waited for my take out .The women at 1 table , the men at another .The women , were most elegant dressed to the nines . Happy , and all the kids dressed in their best .Sharp looking bunch . All smiling have a great night out ,kids being kids .It was spectacular . The hosts ( owners or management ) were never to busy to make you feel warm and welcome , food was excellent .Great spit , super people . I'll go once a week , great service , great place .very...
