I believe this is a Mexican small restaurant inside of the river market mall. I went here with my husband because we were passing by and found out you can dine in. They got a couple of good stuff, especially variety when it comes to Mexican food. We saw in the menu tamales, molletes, enchiladas, tacos (singles ir by the package), homemade water (horchata and Jamaica), burritos and so on. They also sell bread but the one which is very similar sold back home for example conchas, bolillo, telera (for making molletes) and some small cookies that can have flavours such as dulce de leche, chocolate or cinnamon. My husband and I decided to have lunch here and we ordered one beef burrito (for him) and 3-tacos with a side of refried black beans and red rice. The tacos I had were tinga, steak and cochinita. Honestly, the meal I had was good but it can be improved because the tinga had a strange res sauce flavour and the steak seemed a little too dry. The cochinita was my favorite taco because, for some reason, the red onion, was very well marinated and the sauce was not too spicy or dry, it's one of the best cochinita taco I've tried in Vancouver. I also had a horchata water (which is red cinnamon sweet rice drink) and it was delicious, not too sweet but enough for me stop being thirsty. I've been in better Mexican places but this one is not bad if you wanna...

To be honest, food is amazing. We really love to come here with my boyfriend.

However, today we placed some order for Burito Meal with Guacamole and Sour Cream (as per picture) and some coffee with croissant, but instead of meal got Burito only. I came to check with the server if they forgot to put Guacamole and Sour Cream on a side but he told that is going inside (which is weird interpretation of word “meal”). Then I asked him about the difference between regular Burito and Burito meal on what he answered that difference is in Guacamole. Didn’t make much sense for me, but he was super nice and offered to put a side this time. However, right after this the other server came (after sides were on plate) and started to give him troubles that he is not supposed to put side as “she didn’t pay”. Everything was in front of me and other customers to make sure I heard it. Super weird vibe. I was feeling sorry for the server and didn’t want to bring him into trouble in front of that colleague and told it’s fine, I will take Burito only. That being said, our bill was over $30+tip and making this scene because of misleading description and guacamole on a side is really silly. Sad about this tasty and nice place having this level of service provided by that rude lady. Hope didn’t cause any trouble for guy. He was super nice and at least tried despite...

ASKING FOR A BIT OF SAUCE TO MUCH FOR YOU?

We use to like munching here but not that much anymore due to the way we we're treated. Middle aged female employee has a very rude negative tone of voice barking at customers. After almost spending $50 here, we asked for 2 cups of sauce for each of the 3 burrito's we ordered which she gave us a negative googlie eye'd look behind her glasses asking "WHY SO MUCH?" as if we asked her to hand over the full bottles. Apparently including a cup or 2 of salsa with your food is too much for her to take in. Spending $50 here is still not enough to satisfy a customer and so selfish and greedy, she even started arguing over giving us some of her prescious sause. The next thing we hate here is after placing an order they ask for our name, but never call our name when the order is done. Why ask for a name if your not gona use it?. We don't like that and we prefer not to give our info to companies that make us feel obligated to give our our name, phone number or address, that is our personal info and no one has a right to it. I am not here trying to open a bank account, I just wana get something to eat, and hopfully with a bit of sauce. I really hope this place stops asking like the place next door.

BEING SELFISH WILL LOSE...

I can say that I have been to this place more than 50 times since 2018, I have seen the evolution of many things, many dishes and many flavors, as well as the change of the staff, etc. The only reason we go there is because my partner loves the molletes and I am a big fan of the tortilla soup and tacos. the desserts tres leches cake and the bakery is delicious. Always when we go to this place we usually order the same dishes, today was no exception, I asked for an extra chorizo to be added to the molletes, the person who was attending me said no, I told him that they always add an extra chorizo, never was a problem before in charging me for it, However, he refused to do it, I understand that many times the dishes are not modifiable, but adding an extra and paying for it I think it is a benefit for the restaurant to generate more sales, or honestly I don't understand why they can't make that kind of changes. As an extra advice , it would be really nice to had the option to buy single tacos or add a taco in an order. George ;)

We were at River Market with a friend and my daughter needed a snack, so she bought a cookie and a cup of Horchata from Pamola Bakery & Deli Mexican Food. I'd walked by this place many times but never actually stopped to try them. I used to think they were just a bakery but it turns out they serve food too. Tacos, Tortas, Burritos, Quesadillas, Tostadas...etc. I will have to go back and try their food sometime! I was happy to see that their Horchatas are kept in a fridge where you can just help yourself to one, pay for it and go. The Horchata was was very nicely done. Tasty, refreshing, not overly sweet and very affordably priced too. This place is quite the hidden gem! Service: Good Parking: Paid parking at River Market Location: Ground floor of River Market
