We walked by and saw the maple taffy being made so we stopped to watch and decided to try. The taffy I had was still soft so I’m not sure if this is how it’s meant to be? It was slipping down the stick, I was expecting it to be chewy or something. Also it tasted like golden syrup/sugar, not maple syrupy at all so… definitely wasn’t worth €3 Also the staff were pretty unfriendly.

The location is perfect at end of the Irish quarter … very close to the Main Street. Enjoy the fire nearby if you are cold like me.

I bought 3 cookies and also I gave a tip(2$) And I asked ‘Could you give me one more plastic bag please?’

And she said ‘No, it’s 25cents’ So I said ‘but I gave a 2 dollars for tip, I bought 3 cookies and I want to gift to my friends’

Eventually, her answer was ‘no’

I don’t understand, is it difficult to give ‘one more’ plastic bag?

I spent about 30$ and also paid a tip

But she said one plastic bag is 25cents ‘I can’t give it to you’

Ate Taffy for the first time. It was delicious. I liked the process by which it was made, the pouring of maple syrup onto a snow bed and rolling a stick in it. This is a cute little shop near the end of the road (or at the beginning, depending on which way you come) and there is always a number of people inside.
