La Piazzetta St-Joseph — Restaurant in Quebec

This is a very nice looking restaurant. My mushroom bisque was excellent. The salad was very tasty and full of many different flavors that worked well together. My scallop pizza was definitely not as good as the appetizers that came before, but that's not a fair comparison since the appetizers were phenomenal. The pizza was good too. For dessert, the Pizza Chômeur was very good - soft sweet focaccia in melted caramel served with vanilla gelato ice cream… mm I can still taste it. I really wanted to like the place, i had big expectations but the reality fell short. I ordered the Cugina and the description sort of promises a mix of flavours but no taste whatsoever. Not only did it need salt but I still wonder if it actually had any cheese, the chicken did have some flavour but were about 5 only. About ambiance, there really is not an identity to the restaurant. It is cute and has good lighting but that’s about it. I don’t know about the other options in the menu, but that pizza is a no and I’m not interested in a second try. Good...

THIS IS A MUST...You won't be disappointed. Despite being a rather full house, we were seated after a very short wait. Our server was super attentive, made great suggestions, the meals were substantial and tasty. Wasn't planning on dessert but after witnessing what was being delivered to the table, we had to indulge, following our server's suggestion, in the maple syrup creme brûlée. We didn't have to wait long for delivery of food. There was a great buzz in the house and music was sufficient...
