MILA Ristorante — Restaurant in Quebec

We had a fantastic experience at Mila tonight.

The online menu immediately caught our attention, with beautifully presented dishes and intriguing flavor combinations. On a last-minute decision to dine out on a Friday night, we were lucky to find a 6 PM reservation. Running slightly late due to parking, we called the restaurant, and the manager reassured us that they would graciously hold our table—a sign of the hospitality to come.

From the moment we arrived, Chad, the manager, welcomed us professionally and even surprised us with a welcome drink, acknowledging our trip from Montreal. Our server, Benjamin, was exceptional, showcasing great professionalism and impressive wine knowledge, which enhanced our experience.

We enjoyed a dish from each course, and every plate impressed us with its stunning presentation and well-balanced flavors. Beyond the food, what truly stood out was the staff’s attention to detail—they went the extra mile for every table, creating a warm and genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

To top it off, we had the honor of meeting the chef at the end of our meal, a perfect way to conclude the evening. Though Mila is still a fairly new restaurant, it’s clear that it’s on a fast track to becoming a must-visit spot in Quebec City.

After reading the reviews for this place we were looking forward to trying it. In terms of the start it had the makings for a pretty nice place but unfortunately for us the place was taken over by a local influencer that stole pretty much everything from the staff to the vibe. Nothing worse than waiting for your meals and plate after plate gets delivered to their table along with wine just to be taken pictures of and a few bites being taken.... finally after complaining our plates arrived and indeed our selection was good and I would imagine the evening would have been better without the food paparazzi sitting across from us. J'ai invité mon conjoint pour sa fête. On est quand même "foodie" et nous aimons les bons restaurants. Nous avons tout aimé du Mila. Notre serveuse, Valentina, quel service ! Dès notre arrivée, rapidement on nous demande si nous souhaitons de l'eau pétillante ou platte (très européen, on aime). Ensuite, les cocktails arrivent assez vite et sont tout simplement excellents ! J'ai pris le daiquiri et mon chum un boulvardier, la quantité d'alcool était bien généreuse, assez pour nous faire sourire et sentir la fête nous envahir (party!). Valentina prend ensuite le temps de nous expliquer tout le menu en nous donnant des détails à nous en faire saliver. Tout a l'air INSANE ! Comme on ne sait pas quoi choisir (on prendrait littéralement tout), on fait une folie et nous demandons à l'équipe de nous surprendre avec les plats de leur choix, même pour la bouteille de vin. L'expérience fût incroyable ! Nous avons reçu 1. Cappacio de boeuf (dans mon top 3 des meilleures choses que j'ai mangé dans ma vie) 2. Arranchini au pesto (5 sur 5) 3. Ravioli au canard (coup de coeur de mon chum) 4. Risotto aux champignons (un classique bien apprêté) 5. LE COUP DE GRÂCE : Tomahawk de veau parmigiana (c'était tellement gros qu'on a ramené la moitié chez nous et au moment ou je vous écris, je poursuis la dégustation en ce lendemain de festivités).

Tout cela pour un total approximatif 220$ sans le tip pour deux. Honnêtement, ça vaut 100% le coup et 100% l'argent. C'est une expérience à vivre et nous la revivrons personnellement et recommanderons à tous nos amis !

Mila Ristorante, merci pour la belle soirée. Au delà de la nourriture incroyable, le service était exceptionnel, du début à la fin. Ça ne fait que 5 mois que vous êtes ouverts et j'espère que vous aurez le succès que vous méritez. Continuez d'offrir de belles expériences à vos clients comme nous l'avons reçu hier soir et il ne fait aucun doute que votre restaurant vivra une grande réussite !
