There was a little wait for a table, seem to be quite the popular neighborhood cafe. Well worth the wait. Ambience was cosy, inviting and the background music selection was good. Food wise, I ordered the flammekueche. May look like a small serving but it's more than satisfying. Loved how the onions, bacon, poach egg, potatoes blends so well with the cinnamon on a flat pastry that reminded me of prata. Husband had the gravlax, something of an egg benedict on half a bagel. The smoked salmon maybe a little too salty on its own but when eaten with the bagel, egg and hollandaise sauce, it's just delicious. Coffee wise was a little lukewarm, I prefer mine steaming hot.

I didn't have much expectations, we picked it among a few breakfast places in the area by fluke. I was pleasantly surprised. Great looking place, very Bohemian. Took a little while to get a table, we got there just as the morning rush was slowing down. Interesting menu, with lots of different, international takes on breakfast. We had the shakshuka with extra feta and canned anchovies, and the Turkish style egg. Everything was delicious. The tomato sauce from the shakshuka was packed with flavor. They had a good selection of cocktails, cider and beer so it's a perfect boozy brunch place. Prices were very fair. All around an amazing place.

I had a positive experience. The waitress (Alexandra, if I'm not mistaken) was very kind and knowledgeable about their cocktails. She did some great recommendations and performed such an incredible service. The barman was also very friendly. We just found their options of snacks are limited, although their pita bread with hummus is simply amazing (8$)! The prices are ok for the cocktails (between 12 and 15, but they are not served in a large glass). But honestly our biggest concern was actually the loud music. From the outside the place looks chill and nice but inside was loud and people were speaking louder to make themselves heard.

My family and I visited this restaurant while they were on vacation. We initially had a positive experience: the service was good at the beginning, and the food and coffee were delicious. However, things took a turn when my son accidentally spilled water on the table. A staff member came by, dropped a cloth and left it there without assistance. The most concerning part of our visit came when it was time to pay. We had an agreement that my husband and I would be covering the tip, and we added our usual 15%, after my family. A staff member then forcefully pushed the payment machine away from my brother-in-law's hand on his turn and became visibly enraged not knowing we would pay for his tip. After everyone had paid, he stomped away like an angry child, not even acknowledging our "thank you" as he left. This abrupt and aggressive behavior was truly shocking and ruined our meal. While I've enjoyed this place in the past, this horrible experience makes me...

NB: Comment below refers to going there before 6-7 PM, cannot comment on having a drink there in the evening.

Quick impression: This place is all looks and trend but absolutely soulless. It looks like a clothing ad for a hipster millenial fashion brand. Half the clients had a lumber shirt and/or beanie but I suspect 50% clients are students. It's cool if you're a trendy hipster bar at night, but maybe tweak the playlist AND VOLUME to fit the time of day. Also, overpriced because clearly you absorb their decoration tab, but nonetheless their tables don't stand upright and I had to shim two of them with...

It could be such a cool place and food is great but the experiance over all was disappointing. We travel alot around Canada with our three kids and so far we were generally treated well, not here though. The waitress was very unfriendly and since she was much friendlier to the three women sitting next to us I assume the rudeness was because of our kids. Also, We asked for some fried eggs and toast for the kids (there are dishes on the menu with eggs so they do have them) but that was not possible - very unflexible. Also I ordered a Cappuccino, but I was given a flat white. I suspect they don‘t know the difference. Also music und was so loud that we could hardly talk. Also, food took rather long to arrive. Overall not very pleasent, pics and reviews...
