Ogari - Cuisine asiatique artisanale — Restaurant in Quebec

Ordered takeout from here the first night in Quebec City based on the positive reviews. My experience overall was disappointing. Online ordering system said food would be ready in 10 minutes, I arrived 15 mins later. They hadn’t even started making the order (just two basic poke bowls). For some reason the floor of the restaurant was wet. There were about 5 other people in the restaurant, and as I continued to wait an additional 30 mins, every single person waiting had gone up at least once to inquire about their order. I considered canceling my order and getting food elsewhere but decided to stick it out. After finally getting my food and opening it up, multiple aspects of the order were wrong (eg. Paid extra for quinoa but got rice instead). The food itself was fine - tasty but nothing to rave about. Maybe it was a fluke, maybe not, but I definitely won’t be coming back or recommending it. In fact, the Metro grocery store next door has sushi/poke bowls to grab and go. I ultimately wished that I had just done...

I was reading reviews it was a fast food place. Well I suppose it’s not restaurant that comes to your table to serve you. You order at the cash and pay and they bring it to you.

I didn’t find it confusing. You had the options of the bowls, then depending on the size you got default number of toppings. Mine were grilled salmon and squid. The petit comes with 2, next size comes with 3.

You can always add more and pay for it. Anyhow I was happy cause I haven’t had that many veggies since coming to Quebec for holidays.

Someone mentioned the sauce was very spicy. It’s basically a mayo/sriracha sauce maybe a tad spicier so if you’re used to eating that then you’re good to go.

Definitely would go back The salmon wasn’t the freshest though so I’d skip that but the squid was perfectly cooked, not...

I ordered the Mapò poutine with beef heart as part of Poutine Week. Huge disappointment!!! There was barely any gravy/sauce, rendering the dish too salty and dry. It would have been nice if it really had sauce, something basic in poutine. The beef heart was delicious, that's the only positive thing about the dish. Not worth it for the money spent... We ordered via UberEats (my husband had a bowl that was also dry) and ended up paying $70!!! I highly doubt I would order...
