We stopped in early on a Monday evening for dinner. The place was empty. We were asked if we had a reservation. We said no. The server then asked if we called. We said no. He then asked if my husbandâs name was David. We said no. He didnât seem to believe us. It was a bit odd and very uncomfortable - not sure what was going on, but it did not make us feel very welcomed.
The food was very unique and authentic - seemed like someone in the kitchen was making it with a lot of love. We enjoyed a signature cocktail and shared several small plates. We asked about the âdessert of the dayâ as mentioned in the menu and we were told âitâs just churrosâ.
I really wish I could give a five star review but the service was just not up to par with the prices and the atmosphere. The server seemed bored and bothered by usâŠwish that wasnât our experience. I recommend it for the food and atmosphere but just donât expect too much from...
   Read moreComing from a slightly biased standpoint, I went to Lima the first time to visit a friend there. There was a snowstorm blowing outside and it was nice and cozy when I got in, and I had the pleasure to enjoy my meal (splendid and filling) in a space that was warm, relaxing and comfortable.
Since then from time to time I would come by either by myself or with a friend, and each and every time I would be satisfied with the same vibe, without fail.
The food, from what I've heard, are authentic Peruvian recipes, and I do believe the staff is trying their best with a passion. I take the fried rice everytime, and the quality of it makes me want to visit Peru if I ever have the chance.
The last time I went, it was Joaquin and Nicolas working as a team. I was with a friend and we both left happy and fulfilled, which compelled me to leave a review.
Needless to say it is a place that I will visit again. Thanks to everyone...

Je retourne hier 26 Juillet puisque j ai recommandé a des amis de Montréal,Dallas & Tunésie avec fierté et je me ramasse face à Terre.. Pour commencer, le serveur, service pénible, tout d'abord il n'explique pas le menu ou recommandation aux clients. Il me shoot cela en me dissant, lui est deja venu, il est peruvien et il va faire sa pour vous. Zéro respect a mon avis. De plus, on nous rajoute une entrée qu'on n'a jamais commander.Pour ne pas me pogner avec due a la mauvaise expérience, je n ai pas reclamer et j ai payer.Mais je tiens a le noter. On recoit les assiettes, sans couvercles sur la table. On est 5 et il apporte 3 vers d'eau..On demande les vers d eau manquants et il oublie,je dois me lever 10 min apres pour les demander...La Jalea ... Trop huileuse, le lomo saltado ,un peu déçu que la premiÚre fois, on n avais plus le gout d'une viande sauter sur le BBQ...Plutot une viande frit..Svp ne changer vos façons de faire car ces petits détails qui font la différence entre autres restaurants. Aussi, plus de sauce piquante "Appeler Rocoto" tu est dans un restaurant peruvien, obliger d avoir cela, surtout avec du ceviche .De plus, le serveur s hostine a que dire que sa s appel d une autre façon. Il n a rien a apprendre aux clients "surtout s il n est pas peruvien" je lui laisse le commentaire et il répond d un ton arrogant...Ahh tu va venir les chercher de Montréal alors... Quel arrogance et zéro service vs la premiÚre fois.. S est la premiÚre qu on me dit Mc do aurait été mieux qu une Jalea... Wow... J appuie le commerce local et j ai adorer la premiÚre fois et en plus je defend la bouffe peruvienne...Mais je n ai pas le choix de faire ce commentaire afin qu'on on puisse reveiller le staff...Je reviendrai et espérons qu'il y aille du changement et pouvoir vivre l expérience de la premiÚre fois qui etait tout A1 et parfait..Surement pcq le Boss etait la...
