Felt like a good pho soup as I was under weather with a migraine. Husband was making the 30min drive to town, so we decided to try this new place ( we do not eat out lots) the chicken broth with noodle was enjoyable to eat ( however over powered with blk pepper, it I was able to remove most of it as this was tape out and we were allé to mix it at home) the grand dipappointment was the wood chunks i found in the meal. First sliver I was going to ignore, things happen I guess. But 3 more small chunks is and a small pinky finger size I was not. Husband phoned in to let them know, ( in case a wooden implement had broken in pot or something, again things happen) but when he phoned in, they did say we make it right for you, however not taking a name or phone number or any information, he did say he would not be in town till next week. So....basically I feel he was blown off. Not cool, when you find chunks of wood in your meal. And 15.50 for a broth that has a small amount of chicken in it. I will buy the pho broth at extra foods for 3$ add my own protein n noodle next time. Tryed once but not again. A simple caring of taking information to make it right would have put this review in way...
Read moreJust bland and disappointing on a couple levels ,wanted vegetable spring they were out , So opted for the salad rolls, missing the cucumber but Very delicious wasn’t fond of the peanut sauce. Tried to order the wonton. Soup they were out so opted for the Hues style noodle soup, this was very disappointing, menu says round noodles, wasn’t expecting rice noodles almost made the soup slimy with the texture , I was expecting actual meatballs not sliced up meat, soup base was ok kinda oily and it just lacked flavour , then ordered the grilled chicken/spring roll vermicelli this was pretty good, maybe a little bit more seasoning and a light broth or something to mix the noodles with everything,, overall ok , probably won’t...

For example, the salad roll is filled with vermicelli and the bare minimum of prawns. Though they are ok, these rolls usually are filled with Vermicelli, Prawns, BBQ pork slices, lettuce, and a wonderful blend of fresh herbs like Thai basil, cilantro and mint. Sooooo much flavor! The pork on the vermicelli bowl I got was mostly pork fat and, well, not much meat. I still rate them 4 out of 5 stars, as all the food really...
