Incredible - best Indian food we've had anywhere (though we haven't been to India)! We chose tandoori chicken and madras chicken with plain rice and both plain and garlic naan plus the cucumber/onion salad. We also had the prawn pakora, which were deliciously seasoned and came with two sauces (one minty, one sweet, both tasty). Tandoori chicken: succulent, flavorful, and generously sized. Madras chicken: fiery, with incredible depth of flavor that made me want more after each bite even after breaking out in a full-on head sweat. The naan was well-coated with olive oil (or some other oil, or butter), and the garlic naan is definitely even better than the plain stuff. The salad was a great counterpoint to the entrees; for perfect balance we should have also gotten something yogurt-based for added cooling. Quesnellians are extremely lucky to have this place.

Read moreIncredibly delicious!! Shockingly so. I went with my mum who is a very strict vegetarian, and will literally throw up if she eats meat. And I'm lactose intolerant. We ordered our dishes both mild.
Usually when I go for India I end up asking for more rice or coconut milk, because I find it to spicy still. But this time, there was absolutely no hint of too spicy! Just utterly delicious spices and lovely rice.
It was truly vegetarian for my mum, and non dairy for me. Neither of us got sick!
Ignore the outside. I was hesitant at first but went in regardless. %100 glad I did.
We got takeout and it was piping hot.
We eat a lot of India food and this is most possibly the best I have ever eaten!

Read moreThe owner Kishan is a down to earth gentleman with a soft spoken nature and warm personality. The food is authentic Indian and I tried the lunch thali special which today came with butter chicken and chick peas with a Naan and rice. The butter chicken was a little too sweet for my liking but I'm sure the local palette demands a milder taste profile. I also tried the aloo tikki chat with chickpeas. The tikki were fresh with great fresh flavors and the channa/chickpeas chat complemented the tikki well. When in Quesnel do not miss this authentic Indian gem.
