So I went to Chuck' s Roadhouse in Trenton today at around 4:30pm. I wanted to check it out because it was new and I was curious. So I went to the bar to be seated because that's where I normally go in a place like this and all I wanted to have was a beer, but I ended up ordering some food too.
Service at the bar was terrible. I was seated with a couple of other older guys like me who could not seem to get the attention of anyone working there. There seemed to be several employee's milling around the bar, but none of them where paying attention to the customers seated at the bar. One employee seemed to be doing an inventory of the liquor bottles and the others where just running around, but no one seemed to be running the bar.
Finally one of the fellas at the bar got hold of someone, these two guys couldn't contain their dissatisfaction and as a result we all got some service (finally). It was at that moment when the waitress asked me if I wanted to order any food, I decided to have the Grilled Chicken Club with a small Cesar Salad. The food came out fairly quickly and it was excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed it, which is why I gave the food a 5/5.
By now the place was getting very busy and some people who where waiting for tables, started coming over to the bar to have a drink while they waited for a table. Lack of service at the bar was astounding! I watched the frustration on these customers build. Total lack of service at the bar. Even when I was finished and wanted to leave, I struggled to get my bill as I sat there with my empty beer glass. Which is why I gave the service a 1/5.
The atmosphere was very noisy. There needs to be baffles or some noise mitigation installed. The sound needs to be dampened somehow. Which is why I gave it a 2/5.
The place has great potential. The prices are not bad. If they can fix the service at the bar and the echo noise problems, it should do great. As for me, I won't be back until I hear...

I recently dined at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill in Trenton, and it was an enjoyable experience overall. The atmosphere was lively, with a rustic decor that made the place feel welcoming and relaxed. It’s a great spot for a casual meal with friends or family.
Food and drinks The menu at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill offers an array of mouth-watering options. I decided to try the Prime Rib, which was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes and gravy served alongside were creamy and delicious. My dining companion opted for the Fish and Chips, and the fish was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, paired with a tangy tartar sauce. We also shared a plate of the Buffalo Chicken Wings, which had just the right amount of spice and were incredibly juicy. The drink menu didn't disappoint either, with a great selection of craft beers, classic cocktails, and wines to complement the meal.
Service: The service was friendly and efficient. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, ensuring our drinks were refilled promptly and checking in regularly to make sure we were satisfied with our meals.
Ambiance: The ambiance was vibrant and energetic, which added to the overall dining experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the noise level was just right – lively but not too loud for conversation.
Value: One of the standout features of Chuck's Roadhouse is the affordability. The prices are reasonable, and they often have great deals and specials that make dining out even more budget-friendly.
Overall: Chuck's Roadhouse Bar and Grill in Trenton is a great place for a hearty meal in a relaxed setting. Whether you're there for a quick bite, a family dinner, or drinks with friends, it’s a spot that delivers on quality and value. I’d definitely recommend...

So I called the Trenton outlet and told the manager who apparently is also the owner of 10 other chucks , they said they didn’t receive the order. And I would have to call head office to find out where my order is, of course they don’t work weekends . So there is no one to call…this franchise has no number to call to find out if my order has been received . How do you run a business where no one seems to know anything. I even sent him the screenshots of my order number and it even showed up as a past order. The kicker is they charged my credit card right away. No offer of my food or money after trying to get it settled. The manager calls me back 15 minutes later and says he now has my order…which after going through all I did I didn’t want it any more..told him to keep it and I wanted my money back. Of course now I have to call head office to get it….poorly run business…avoid it at apparently all costs it seems. They deserve no stars!
After 2 weeks of asking for my credit card refunded , they said they can’t refund my credit card and issued me a $50 e-card . I said that I didn’t want their e-card I wanted my refund to my credit card. How is it possible that they can charge you credit card withinn15 minutes but can’t refund it….what kind of business is this? And why would I want to go back to a business that has treated me so unfairly? This is a company to avoid at all costs, they do not care about anything. They won’t call and have stopped answering my emails. So no food…no assistance…and then they ignore you, do yourself a favour and do not give...
