Wannamakers is the best in all of ontario for sweets! Even if you don’t like super sweet things, you’ll still enjoy it. Just so you know, half a box of their donuts is as big as a whole box from Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons! The first time I went, I only went to get a dozen donuts for a friend. But when I got there, I was amazed! The donuts are huge—some are even bigger than my head! One cinnamon roll can easily feed four people! Their butter tart is so delicious that even people who usually don’t like them would love it! They have melt in your mouth cookies and various varieties of donuts! They have 2 types of cinnamon rolls: glazed and cream cheese. They even have frozen cinnamon rolls that you can bake at home and have right out of the oven cinnamon rolls to indulge in. They also have tasty chocolate cupcakes that don’t have dairy, eggs, gluten, or nuts, which is great for those with allergies especially Gout! They do have soy, but they're mostly allergy-friendly. The prices are a bit higher than usual donut shops, but they are totally worth it. Just picture three boxes from Krispy Kreme or Tim Hortons stacked up on top of another—that’s about the size of half a dozen of their donuts! I work at an animal emergency clinic in Toronto, and the first time I brought donuts, everyone loved them. Now, whenever I ask what to bring for events, they all want the donuts from Wannamaker's! The staff at Wannamaker's can handle big orders but like to have them ordered in advance if they can. Everyone there is really nice and can make even your worst days a bit brighter just by being themselves!

Hands down best donuts in the area! These are sugar coated and raspberry filled with 2 cinnamon twist sticks as well. Today after almost a year of trying to get over to Trenton in time I was FINALLY able to make it in before it closed lol. They only stay open until 2:00pm and I belive open at 9:00am, so it's kind of super hard to make it in time before closing. But, the wait was worth it and that is all that matter to me! šŸ’™šŸ’œšŸ¤šŸ©šŸ¤šŸ’œšŸ’™ I got there an hour before closing so it was kind of totally picked over, comapred to when I was there last, but they didn't have my jelly donut tho which was my soul and only reason for going. But the girl out in the store area offered to fill some donuts for me, and even tho they weren't filled with the same stuff as I had last time they were still really good so I'm totally contented 😌. She mentioned they are now selling Kawartha Ice-cream and for any adventurous people they have a maple bacon donut. Personally I would rather an oreo but to each there own šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø. The options they have there's something every kind of person might like or enjoy 😜 ... Updated review: Even better than they were last time I was in! Definitely the best time is to go when they first open. It literally smells like what I hope the gates of the heavens will be like lol. So damn good! Bit more pricier than it was but theyve had a store makeover and stuff, but it's totally worth it. IMO it's better to have quality than quantity. So I rather pay for two deliciously overpriced donuts than buy 4 meh ones

I would highly recommend Wannamaker’s Bakeshop - not only for its delicious cupcakes but just how accommodating and flexible they were! I was looking for cupcakes for my sons 1st birthday and after checking out a few places in the area, upon walking in I had a feeling this would be the one. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and after trying their cupcakes, we ordered cupcakes for the birthday party. First off, we had no left overs and ordered almost double just in case anyone wanted 2, and EVERYONE had 2!! We got all 4 of their flavours: chocolate, vanilla, carrot, and raspberry/lemon. We also got some gluten free/vegan cup cakes which I did not personally get to try but my sister-in-law who did said they were absolutely delicious! Lastly, when I picked up the cupcakes, I somehow left behind those delicious vegan/gf cupcakes, remembered that 10 minutes before the store closed, called them, and said they would wait for us to come get them since we lived about 15 minutes away. I was so grateful and so glad we bought our cupcakes for our sons 1st birthday. Thanks a million, it made our party!

My fiancƩe and I decided we were going to stop by the shop this morning to pick up some donuts for Mothers Day and to celebrate an anniversary for us. We arrived shortly after 12:00 to find that the selection was very limited as far as donuts go, including being out a repeatedly requested donut (chocolate cream) as well as multiple others. My fiancƩe had her eye on a glazed cream seeing as they were out of chocolate, which she mentioned to me as we were standing in line when the customer ahead of us ordered a chocolate cream. The employee serving him informed him that they were out of chocolate cream and proceeded to suggest the last glazed cream, but not before smirking directly at my fiancƩe as if to laugh at her. It was clear she had heard my fiancƩe mention the donut in question and we felt as if it was a way of shortening the line as we were the last customers in the line. The selection was also filled with cupcakes and cookies, however butter tarts were also limited. It would nice if the shop bothered to keep their donuts in stock all seeing as they are only open 5 hours anyway. There was also an older couple in front of us (roughly 70s I would guess) who had ordered a six pack of donuts and single fritter. The employee then told them that it would only cost them $3 per donut if they ordered another 6 pack, therefore trying to upsell the purchase from 7 donuts to 12 or $21.42 to $36. This is not the first time our family has had such an issue. My in-laws have also went to Wannamakers but were asked if they were the bakers and when they told the employees they were customers, they were informed that the store was closed due to being out of donuts. This was at 1:00. Overall very disappointed with both...

I'm giving this a 3 start due to what happened on Canada day. I love wannamakers and make sure we fully support them by buying cupcakes and other treats often. They are delicious and the best bakery in town. On Canada day it was really busy at the pop ups and all the businesses were swamped including wannamakers, I waited in the long line to get my treat and my debit card wasn't working so I said to the lady I'll be right back as I need to get my husband's pin she said okay; he was right around the corner so it took me two seconds litteraly and instead of skipping the line I went and waited the end of the long line up again. I waited a min or two and they shut the window to go on break. I'm okay with them going on break as it was a super busy day but what I'm upset about is they could have had the decency to tell me "hey we are going on break in 2 min do you mind coming back in 15'20min?" I went to the side and said hey I was just here and said I'll BRB but no one told me you were going on break and instead of apologizing she rudly said we need a break and shut me down. Because it was a busy day instead of shutting down it should have been staffed properly or one person go on break at a time instead of closing completely, yes it would go slower but ppl would still get served. I wasn't the only one upset about this as some ppl said they shut the window in their face. We over heard a few ppl complaining about it. Because of the poor attitude and not having the decency to give me a heads up instead of having me come back right away when I would have gladly waited 20min then come back we will not support their pop up...
