Almost $40 for a lunch. Waste of time. Chicken was ok. The other not so much. Guess what the problem was? I asked the server about it who became defensive and told me this was their regional variant. I don’t but that as I’m able to purchase every single ingredient from our local supermarkets markets, even wall mart sells everything. Just pure lazy. Don’t sell dishes you can’t make, tell people before they buy or remove from menu. Simple. KORYO Korean BBQ. 1/10. Can’t give zero unfortunately.
Edit: so as we are leaving the owner starts taking photos of my family and kids. I approach and ask why he taking these photos. He is yelling that I must remove my review or he will do things with the photographs of my family. How did he know it was my review. Taking random photos of people’s families. Anyhow, I was told he must now explain this to his franchise. I was being full on screamed at and abused. I explained he had the chance to make it right and chose the other road. This is my right as a customer. To tell of my experience. He still refused to delete photos of my kids and I. I then went to mall security to ask for mall cops or local cops. Fortunately the nicest security officer came and spoke with him. She remained calm and professional a he screamed at her too. Only after he was warned with police intervention regarding taking photographs of kids did he delete the photographs. During this whole time I was called various names, threatened, abused and insulted. Well not insulted. His words did not have the desired effect. My “cheap a$$” as he called me, went next door and spent double what I spent here, at his competition to buy a decent meal...

I don’t usually write Google reviews but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
Extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Koryo Barbeque. The food quality has noticeably declined compared to previous visits, yet it remains the most expensive option in the mall food court.
The breaking point came when dining with my two young children. Since they couldn't finish their meals, I asked for a takeout box for their leftovers. The owner refused to provide a large box and insisted it would cost an additional $1. When an employee gave me two small boxes instead, I could hear the owner complaining about even that small accommodation.
This petty behavior over takeout containers while charging premium prices shows a serious decline in customer service. My children's leftover food wasn't worth the disrespect we experienced.
After years of patronage, you've lost my business completely. There are plenty of other dining options that offer better value and treat customers with...
Read moreThis is the best BBQ chicken and beef I have ever eaten. First time ever trying it and my friend from work said Korean BBQ was good also. There is a dipping sauce that goes with the meat. You have to ask for it maybe. I got 2 dipping sauces the first time and none on the 2nd visit but asked and had 1. It makes it taste twice as good. Dip the meat in the sauce. It is deadly. When I first arrived I thought it was silly that I was warned about Kim Chi. It is spicy but I have eaten it for years bro. She was thinking I was a child or something. It was mild. Maybe it would cause a baby or a puppy pain. This Korean Stand also has regular food for plain people such as green beans and broccoli without flavour and hash browns with flavour which is popular among the locals for the bumps on a log sort of people. I travel the world but others...
