Today I visited this Starbucks and ordered a custom Java Chip Frappuccino (It was also a Grande), since it's no longer on the menu. The lady at the till told me that it would be more expensive. I was aware of that, but I didn’t expect to pay $8.95 (which felt crazy because my friends drink was a venti and costed less). The last time I had it custom-made, it was only $7.09 (8.09 including tip). I didnt understand why the price had gone up so much, I know she used the mocha cookie crumble to custom make the java chip, but even then it shouldnt have costed that much, as I even replacated making a Java chip with it through the app. Despite that confuson and honestly a bit of frustration, I decided to go ahead, hoping it would be worth it.
Unfortunately it took 15 minutes to get my drink, which was already longer than expected. By the time I finally got it, I was just hoping the taste would justify the cost. But to my disappointment, it was absolutely not worth it. The drink was watery, barely had any whipped cream, and I could hardly taste the chocolate flavour the Java chip has . If it hadn’t cost me $8.95, I would’ve thrown it out after the first couple of sips.

I gave the barista my app for payment, and then I owed her $2.30. I gave her the exact change and she couldn't count it and asked for more money.
There was one person sitting, but no one in front of us to order, and it took 14 minutes to get my first drink of my order. When they started to make the second one, they didn't have it and offered me an ice coffee which I rejected because I paid for a cold brew. I asked for an Iced Americano in its place, and it was extremely disappointing too.

Just now when I was about to order, was informed they needed me to donne my mask. As I looked around, ALL their existing customers were drinking the elixirs with their mouths fully exposed.
