I work in a drive thru myself, and I would never treat anyone the way I was treated today. I haven’t been to this Tims since they put in the double speaker box, so i was excited to see the difference in speed. My window wouldn’t open so I was just going to open my door. The lines were moving fairly quickly which was really nice to see. When it was my turn to pull up to the speaker box, it took me a moment to park my car and open my door, I wasn’t sure if anyone has said anything yet (i didn’t know if two people were working the drive, or just one) so i said “hello!” in a friendly way, just incase someone was waiting to take my order. I know that it is frustrating when someone says “hello?!” as soon as they pull up, so that’s why i just tried to sound really friendly. After i didn’t hear a response I assumed that it was only one person in the drive, and my order would be taken next. When the women came on the speaker box to take my order, she was so rude and disrespectful to me. She over explained to me that “I can hear you, as soon as you pull up i get notified you’re there, so you have to wait for me” I tried explaining that my window was frozen and I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t unintentionally ignoring someone, but she cut me off and just kept saying things like “when i’m done taking one persons order, i’ll come take your order.”
I know how a drive through works. I could understand if I also was being rude, but in my own experience I am never disrespectful to someone, even if they are to me! because that is part of the job. It was just really unfortunate being treated that way when i didn’t do anything wrong, and i...
Read moreVery rude counter staff. Had person in front of me served better than me fairly sure was racist but I'm White so no one would acknowledge anyway let alone that there's only 3 white people in whole staff. Friend just got let go due to it. They took order in their language acted like didn't know English yet spoke fluently to staff in Drive thru. Then seemed to give staff that only spoke English a hard time. Store was a mess floors filthy. Looked at Drive thru and average time as 6+ minutes around 7pm. Which is insane but they seem to get rid of anyone quick in Drive thru. Heard them shout in their language using a name I'm assuming is crew but when the person (assuming who it was) ask they were told nothing. Place seriously needs investigation for equality and equal opportunity, I know they'd fail. When watching them give crew hard time about espresso coming out slowly which is beyond the poor person's control 😫 yet a SUPERVISOR is asking a crew who's clearly in training how they can find something on POS and then if espresso is in London fog clearly having no idea 😱🤦♀️ I will not be supporting this location ever again. Needs to seriously change. I'm all for equality and equal opportunity but if your going to make your white staff feel less that's seriously crossing a line. You're all equal and human so act like it. Nobody needs to feel belittled at work regardless of race. You're all there to do your job so focus on that. No reason anyone should...
Read moreThis morning we went through the drive-thru. I told the worker explicitly, "PLEASE make sure that the 'French Vanilla with 3/4 coffee' is made right. The last few times it hasn't been." She said, "Okay, no problem!" My wife tastes her drink after we leave and it's ALL French Vanilla. They've made really weird mistakes with her past few orders, like adding cream to it for no reason, putting in 1/4 coffee instead of 3/4, adding hot chocolate instead of coffee...it goes on. I called and spoke to the supervisor just now and she was sympathetic, but didn't offer to help in any way. I explained everything I said above in this review. I told her my wife is done (her words, and after this I can't say I blame her). Unfortuantely, no 'we'll make it again for free' is going to even fix this. It probably won't be made right if they do. I also told the supervisor that clearly her staff need more training. As for my own order, I guess I'll see how many times they can mess up a 'Double Double with an Espresso shot' before I follow in the footsteps of my wife. And trust me, there's been quite a few mistakes. In conclusion, find a different location if you want to make sure your order isn't messed up. We came to this location two, sometimes three times a day. This is super...
