Fired Up Grill Food & Drink — Restaurant in Regina

This food was just straight up not good, I don't understand how people give this 5 stars. I would give this 1 star bit at least the service was fine. The burger was too big for the bun so I was left with a chunk of meat. I then realized the the burger tasted gross and like playdo. (Without everything else I was able to taste just the burger and it was just plain bad. First burger I can ever remember not finishing.) My girlfriend got a taco salad and I think it had only a tablespoon of meat. The salad was wet and you can literally get a better taco salad that is also cheaper at taco time. The service was fine but for the price I suggest you go to better restaurants. It's cramped like a small diner but they charge just as much as a place like the rooftop for food that is half as good. Perhaps our experience was out of the ordinary but I cannot recommend this...

This has always been one of our breakfast go to spots, though we have not been in for some time. Went today and soon realized it was under new management/ownership as all the familiar faces were gone. Service was definitely not what we were used to. We were with a larger group who arrived before we did. They had ordered their beverages upon arrival. When we arrived we received water but were not asked if we wished for anything else. Waited some time before server came for our order from our group. Overheard a few issues with order correctness from diners around us and was apprehensive as to what we would get. Finally got served over 30 mins after ordering. The bright spot was that all orders were correct and food was still decent, thankfully as not once did anyone come see how our food was. Not what we remembered in way of service...

Waitress was wonderful, pork chops were awesome, Caesar salad was good but with some rotten bits. I was not impressed that we were seated by the hostess away from all patrons, presumably the owner. We thought it would be a great restaurant but he could barely eat half the burger as it was bland with what could have been beef but had a strange texture. The waitress was awesome but the owner or hostess was condescending in stating no one has ever complained before about the burgers, which I could only guess is because most patrons are older without much taste buds. Will not be returning ever again, and pretty much reminds of why it's better to stay home and cook our own food. And by the way, nuked corn and baby carrots without salt or seasoning of any kind is better off without beside...
