Atmosphere this time was not great as the server must have been having a bad day. She wasn't rude, but she definitely wasn't friendly. She was so negative sounding and unwilling to alter some of the dishes at all. I asked for banana peppers also with the nachos to which she replied that if she did that, she would be fired. Then I asked for more than 3 jalapeƱo slices to which I was also told she would be fired if she altered the recipe at all. I was told 5 times during our time there that she would be fired for giving too much onion, pickle or altering contents of menu items with different veggies. It wasn't like I was asking for free bacon or free double meat or anything. These are veggies that at other locations are not a big issue to add or subtract them to a sub or menu item. I was also told I couldn't subtract lettuce from my Nachos. Ridiculous, I thought the food items were my way ot theirs. On July 3 2025Thursday, I received an extremely dry and tasteless sandwich. When I called the store, Supervisor Utpal Prajapati argued instead of helping and then hung up on me. He did not apologize or offer a solution. When I called back, no one answered, and I received no follow-up.
I visited the store in person at 2:10 PM on July 3. Utpal offered a refund but treated me with disrespect, as though my complaint was a burden. He showed no concern that I had missed lunch ā and as a diabetic, I couldnāt take my medication without eating. This added to my distress.
Only after repeated requests did he provide his and the ownerās name. His lack of professionalism and empathy was shocking.
This entire experience has been extremely upsetting. I hope Subway will address this behavior to ensure others are not treated...
