The waitress there was very unpleasant, and 0 expression of happiness when talking. So I thought, maybe thats how she is (she is oriental) Then a group of oriental customers come sit in the table beside and voila! Did she ever started to speak in mandarin or Cantonese and started to smile and customer service for them went up!!! So I guess she was able to smile and communicate after all.....why not with me? I will leave that up for you guys.
The food was OK. nothing special. Do not try the shrimp, or baked chicken. Smelled bad, looked bad, and tasted bad. And 20 min after leaving restaurant - diarrhea.
1 Napkin is all you get, and tiny glass of water is all you get.
If there is an oriental group sitting beside you, water comes for them, and you must raise arm to get yours filled.
The same oriental lady brought the "order off menu" for the oriental group sitting beside me. It was skillet fried food hot off the oven or stove.
I have seen that in many restaurant, they bring the entire skillet to your table while its still smoking.
She did the same thing, except oh my.....was there smoke....absolutely pathetic amount of smoke. I was chocking....sitting beside the table....every single on of the customers turned and looked in confusion....and the group of old ladies and old men who came for birthday party (which i thought was cute...) all started coughing!!
the entire restaurant was smokey. this is not an exaggeration.
so...maybe use common sense next time.....to keep the skillet food item at kitchen side....for the burning smoke to subside little bit and then bring to the table....
this behavior showed 0 respect for me (who was sitting beside that table) and 0 respect for everyone else in the restaurant.
waitress needs to go to customer service school!!! or take a course on customer service.
Would like to hear back from owner / management before I write the same well written letter to SK public health complains. Very disappointed with :

Read moreNot impressed. 7 friends met for supper. They would only let 6 max sit at one table, so our group had to split up. Not great when you want to visit with each other. Because of COVID I can see why there are new rules, but there were three booths right next to each other and all were full of people. There was no 6 foot spacing there at all. Then it was confusing on how you order. You get a poorly photocopied piece of paper and you check off what you want. The others at my table didn’t write their names on their paper because it didn’t ask for it. I wrote my name on mine because I thought it was a good idea. When the food came, the waitress mixed up my order with another person from the other table. Luckily I caught the mistake before either of us started to eat. I even showed the paper with my name on it. There was a lot of food on everyone’s plate which was about the only thing good that evening. I couldn’t eat much of my food, so thought I would take it home. The waitresses said I couldn’t do that. Another person at my table was taking her leftover soup home, but I wasn’t allowed to take mine. When I asked why not, they said because it was off the buffet and not off the menu. Now with COVID, there wasn’t any difference on how each of us got our food. The restaurant was not full at all. There wasn’t a buffet to go to. We all got served at our table. So it’s not like I had gone to the buffet more than once. Even the other ladies tried to reason with the staff. Nope they wouldn’t change their mind. So I basically paid $20 for approx about 6 bites of food. Not impressed....
Read moreTL:DR Dim Sum was bland, service lackluster and the tables being covered with layers of plastic felt like they were just trying to push people through for their money. Wouldn't recommend.
My family and I decided to come here and try dim sum since it is fairly close to where we live. Once inside we stood by the front counter waiting to be seated. After about 5 minutes a employee bringing out food spots us and has to run to the back to find us someone to help us. Finally getting at table we instantly notice the the tables have layers over plastic table covers on it and we aren't talking about 2 or 3. There is at least 7-10 per table. We were promptly given our water and waited for their cart to come around. We ended up trying shrimp dumpling, pork dumplings, honeycomb and beef trip, shrimp rolls, chicken feet and taro cakes. All of it was under seasoned. Completely void of any flavour. If you are looking for a place to treat your family to quality dim sum this...
