Good food good service and a great menu. They are a family run restaurant in Regina - and they love what we do.  And it shows in their food.  It is wholesome, home-cooked and tasty.

Nicky's Café was established in April of 1986 by Nick Makris and John Makris.  It continues to be proudly run by family members.

Why is our food so good?  Well first of all, we make HOMEMADE burgers. We use only the finest and freshest ingredient available to mankind. The patty consists of only Canada Choice fresh lean ground beef, ground by us, carefully charbroiled for maximum juiciness and flavor.  And you get half a pound! The buns are custom baked sesame-seed buns, and it is all topped with the freshest of sauces and garnishes.

We support local suppliers where ever we can and you can taste the difference. We get our potatoes from farms near Craven.  We also serve our specially selected smoked bacon thickly sliced on our premises.  We serve old fashioned Canadian maple flavoured ham that is fresh baked, not pressed.

We are famous as well for our Lentil Soup.  We have served over 3 million bowls to people from all over the country.  We even invite you to take a stab at making it at home - the recipe is available in the restaurant.

Thank you for reaching out and addressing my recent visit. I appreciate your willingness to make things right.

Regarding my experience, I understand that there might have been some confusion with my order. However, I must clarify that while I did request a Mexican breakfast wrap without egg and meat due to dietary restrictions, I was not informed that this would result in an essentially empty wrap filled only with green onions and tomatoes. Had I been made aware of this, I would have certainly requested alternative options or declined the dish altogether.

Additionally, I regret to say that the taste of the wrap was not satisfactory. It seemed that not much effort was put into adjusting the filling to accommodate my dietary needs. It would have been helpful if the server had been upfront about the limitations in customization or suggested alternative options.

I understand that menu items may not always be suitable for every dietary preference, but clearer communication and better execution of alternatives would have greatly improved the situation.

It was first time ordering a Delivery From this establishment Turkey dinner for two . I’ll tell ya a hungry man’s Turkey dinner would of done it.These meals were gross . Maybe cause it was a Delivery but they were like tha scrapings of the corners of tha bottom of your grease pans after the cookings of tha main meal whaa . And burp it like a chicken wiener hot dog tha rest of tha night . It sounds like you got good reviews on food but that’s eggs breakfast sa for us it must of been close to closing time ! Tha presentation of these two meals was like stopping getting left overs from mothers house just toss it in the containers and go one had a couple slices of Turkey tha other was kibbles and bits of tha scrapings !
