This was the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. The staff were rude, the place was dirty, and the work was beyond awful. I got nothing like what I asked for and was rushed out the door so the lady could move on to the next person in the overcrowded salon despite myself making an appointment ahead of time. The lady doing my nails did not speak to me or pay me any attention, rather just talked to the nail tech beside her the entire time. At one point she looked away while doing my nails and cut my finger pretty badly. I ended up paying nearly seventy dollars for something that looked trashy and cheap. My natural nails, which were frankly destroyed in this process, were cut horribly, leaving sharp pieces of my nails hanging out from underneath of the gel nail applied. She did not use any lotion and spent next to no time filing down the nails to get the shape I asked for. The colour was wrong and the nails were way longer than I wanted even after I asked her to trim them down. Before starting, she did not push my cuticles back as they charge extra for that and you have to ask to get it done. Every other salon I have been to, that is standard procedure. When the nails were "finished" she sent me to the sink with a dirty towel beside it and told me I could go as she rushed me out. Also, the customer service was shockingly abysmal. I went back the next day because I ended up paying a lot of money for something that looked horrible. The woman I dealt with was eager to walk away from me and disregard my concerns. Finally, they fit me in to fix the nails. The nail tech I got the second time was much better but still did not talk to me and was quite rough with my hands and seemed very unhappy about fitting me into her schedule. Everyone was quite rude and trying to get them to redo them or even take them off and give me some of my money back (which was not an option) was next to impossible. I try to go to the Tea Tree Restaurant as often as possible; it's always a delightful experience that exceeds my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, making us feel welcomed right away. They went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable dining experience, checking in on us regularly without being intrusive and happily answering our questions about the menu.

I tried the kareng musman with chicken and was blown away by the freshness of the ingredients and the balanced seasoning. As someone from Vancouver, I've definitely had my fair share of Asian food. I love Vietnamese food and let me tell you, this is by far the best place I have ever been to.. I tried the pho (Combination beef) and the broth is very tasty. It's full of flavour and didn't leave me dying for a glass of water afterwards. I could taste all the different herbs that they had used and the deep flavours in the soup. They didn't cheap out on beef either. I ordered #86,the Vietnamese combo with salad roll to go. Upon arriving home, I was disappointed to see that there was no salad roll. I called the shop just to be sure that I didn't mix it up, and the lady told me she would credit me back next time I was in (she took down my phone number and name). Wow. Such customer service! [update. yes i did end up getting my salad roll!] But in terms of taste, it was phenomenon. Once again, very strong flavours and no skimping on the meat! I've found my go to Vietnamese place in Regina for good. I won't be going anywhere else. Please do keep in mind that in many Asian styled restaurants, it is customary for you to raise your hand for service. Do not expect them to come to you automatically.
