:::Know before you order: ---Their "pepperoni" might not be what you consider "pepperoni"::::''
Visiting Regina for the night, I needed to feed the family of 6 staying in a hotel nearby. We ordered a 15" thick and a 15" thin pepperoni pizza.
Having grown up in a heavily Italian area of New York State, I'm used to a different style pizza. The dough and the cheese at Vern's was pretty good but I thought the sauce was maybe just a little thin and the pepperoni was more like salami or slightly spicy bologna. The meat is buried under the cheese, so if anyone needs to pick the meat off, they have to remove the cheese first.
The difference in price for the thick over the thin in my mind was not worth the extra cost. The thin is perfectly thick enough with out any gluttony. I recommend sticking with the thin pie.
While their pizza was not awful, the "pepperoni" topping is probably not what I would order again in the future if we ever return to Regina.
All interactions with employees was pleasant. The phone call to place the order was a little confusing at first
I asked for paper plates when the pizzas were given to me. No napkins were given but the paper plates were actually pretty thick...

You pay $28 for a 12” original thick pizza and you expect a half inch stack of meat not 2 slices of ham hiding under the cheese. Only this location at Rochdale Regina. All other Vern’s locations rock! In the pic Vern’s thick pizza is the thin little triangle on the right. The other one is regular ham and pineapple from...

Knowing how good Vern's pizza in Saskatoon is, and now that I live on the north side, I decided to give them another try. I will definitely...
