Sadly, did not meet expectation. On a Monday evening, I was at a dinner with family, six of us in all. Of those that volunteered an opinion to me later, it was about 50/50 on who liked their dinner. I did not. I had the pork chop on red rice and cabbage. While it was flavourful, it was cold. Actually, the meat was warm (not hot, just warm), but the red rice and cabbage were actually cold. Not cool but cold. I chose not to make an issue of it because we were celebrating my mother's birthday. Then a big surprise when I picked up the bill. Was it written on the menu there'd be an automatic gratuity? Perhaps. I generally don't have an issue with automatic gratuity added for service for large groups. We were six and our server informed me that groups of six and larger were charged the automatic gratuity. Well, that certainly explained the level of service we received. Being generous, I estimate all together she spent less than 10 min with us. We always seemed to be waiting on her. Bam, 20% tip added to the bill. I suppose since she new she was getting the large tip anyway, didn't need to go out of her way. And the place was nearly...

We were a group, and the waitress made our night rather unpleasant. The service was mediocre, with a few errors, no apologies provided, and also no offers to rectify her mistakes. She was neither friendly nor interested. We didn't feel welcomed or like it was a pleasant place. I've worked in customer service for over 20 years and was surprised to see that the experience was only getting worse as the waitress didn’t offer me any change - presumptuous and leaving herself a generous and unwarranted tip. I didn’t say anything and kept it polite, however it is a complete no-no and I decided to write a review on here as next the waitress went on and also commented on someone else’s tip amount (which was a standard %) not being sufficient - in front of the whole group, leaving the person feel uncomfortable for no reason. It was ridiculous! Extremely greedy. Would not return or recommend. The cocktails and food were fine, maybe overall the meal was a little dry and the potatoes bland. Mostly we were disappointed in the...

Unfortunately we were definitely disappointed. The standout was the Bruschetta. Great flavor. Good for 2 hungry people or 3 semi hungry people. Pork belly had good flavor and a nice sauce. Unfortunately it was barely warm. Our cocktails were both descent. (Empress Sour & Ceasar) The mains were both disappointing. I had the Beef Shank with polenta and assorted veggies. The beef was tender but really lacked any distinct flavor. The chef needs a little more attention to detail as this dish lacked salt. I asked for some and it did help. But at $42.00 it wasn't up to par. My wife has Risotto with Chicken thighs. The dish was described to me as "one note" as far as flavor goes, by my wife. Tasted ok but missing some punch. ($36.00) One more positive was that our server Poppy was very good and attentive with a cheerful vibe. The takeaway for us is that for a $200.00 plus meal this was disappointing and I wouldn't reccomend. This was our last dinner in Revelstoke and we wish we had a...

Great place! We arrived late at the Revelstoke Inn. After trying to go to one of the local pubs, which was closed, we found ourselves at the Woolsey Creek Bistro. The kitchen was closing soon, but the host must have sensed my hunger and exhaustion. She was very kind, and so was our wonderful server. They did not rush us. They were helpful and kind. The food came quickly and it was delicious. I had the tomatoe chipotle soup, and squash capaletti. My husband had the salmon, which looked amazing. Our server sensed that my soup was too spicy and offered to make me something else from the kitchen. I chose to stick with the soup for although it was hot it was delicious. This is such a great place to go in the heart of Revelstoke. It's a bit upscale but they do not look down on you if you go in with a hoodie on (I know, it was what we were wearing ;-)) This was the last stop on our west coast honeymoon and we do not regret it.

I'm not sure if I want to write an amazing review or a terrible review BECAUSE if I write a terrible review then nobody will come here and my wife and I will always get a table! But in all honesty... This place is such a Revelstoke Gem. The food was absolutely amazing and Kendal was an amazing server. She had such a great attitude and was very quick to notice low drinks and anything we needed right away. 5 of 5 stars from my wife and I on our 1 year anniversary! We will definitely be visiting you again when we are in Revelstoke next. Thanks for making our 1 year anniversary dinner such a joy. :)

Food was average, but we waited for an hour before our dishes arrived :/ Took 30 min for the server to take our order and another 40 min to get our food. I understand the restaurant may be understaffed, but would’ve appreciated if they limited the seating to match the staff or gave a discount considering how long we waited. The food wasn’t bad - we got the burger, pasta, and crème brûlée for dessert Parking on site. Make sure to make reservations beforehand!
