ZERO STAR REVIEW ! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS THEY'RE SCAM ARTISTS! Rooms were dirty, beds were terrible, pillows wow ouch (don't even bother) The hotel manager charged me 450 for a pet cleaning fee when my pet didn't leave anything more than a couple hairs. I called the night before arrival and the staff were saying I was allowed pets. Yes sir, yes sir. Very broken English and hardly make sense AT ALL was arriving late and said my card would be under the door mat. I booked for 2 days The next day evening after riding the mountain they called and asked when I was picking my luggage up and said I was evicted because of my dog who slept in my room with me and stayed in the truck during the day at the mountain. They kept my 110 dollar room fee and charged my credit 450 dollars. For cleaning!! . I am applied at the service from this establishment and inability to communicate when I clearly called told them inwas bringing a pet . "Is there a pet fee? "Yes sir, yes sir. okay thank you ill be coming late ..okay yes sir the card will be under the mat..next day I'm scammed for hundreds of dollars and asked when I'm coming to pick up my luggage from staff and no manager to speak to. What a total scam these...
Read moreI've stayed at the Revelstoke Lodge many times during ski trips over the years, and I keep coming back. For a no frills motel experience that is well located it's great.
Things I like: location, good parking, friendly staff, generally clean, comfy beds and linens, great cable TV, in-room fridge, coffee and microwave. Also, my experience is that it's a pretty quiet motel.
There are a few things they could do to improve:
(1) Coat racks! There is only one "closet" with hangers in the room and as soon as people want to hang up damp ski gear, you're out of space pretty quickly. Put a multi-hook coat rack behind the door in each room.
(2) A little TLC - our bathroom had peeling paint, a toilet that was not properly seated/level and a door that wouldn't properly close but was otherwise clean and functional. Shim up the toilet, fix the door and repaint the bathroom. Little upkeep things go a long way.
It doesn't need to be more than what it is - but attention to a few little details would make it so...

The staff were friendly, the soundproofing in the room was actually quite good. Linens looked relatively clean, I liked the cozy thick blanket. Bed wasn't what I would describe as very comfortable as it was firm, a little lumpy, and it squeaks, but I've also slept on worse. Pretty good central location
For ~$200 a night I feel like I would have expected more, but also that's just how much these things cost nowadays :/ I don't think I'll be back for this price point next...
