An absolute gem! I spent the afternoon absorbing all the rich history contained within this small space. The work that has gone into preserving a history that at times seems to have been at risk of slipping through the cracks of time is truly impressive. Read moreThere were several items of interest at the museum for me. The scavenger hunt made the experience fun for our 7yr old (and us too). I loved learning about the original people of this land, the Sinixt, and would have liked even more about them and how they lived before, during and post colonial settlement. I appreciated learning about the creation of the reservoir, and how that impacted the people who lived there, as well as its environmental impact. Read moreThe museum and archives are a really great spot to check out the history of Revelstoke. Revelstoke has such a rich history that the museum and archives do a great job of showcasing through a variety of different exhibits. They cram a lot into the space that they have available to them and really use every inch of it to educate and showcase history.
