Went there for the first time - their vibe is amazing and so is the place. Customer service could have been better, though my friend and I (just two of us) didn't require it a lot. They gave extra charcoal for shisha so we could change it on our own. However, 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and a regular shisha cost us $100 to be exact, with gratuity automatically charged! A little deceptive as the machine asked for more tip...good thing I saw the bill beforehand. Overall, ok-ish shisha (doesn't have a "kick" to it), and good food. But could be better in terms of pricing and automatic gratuity (probably what brings their customer service down). Personally wouldn't return; there are better hookah places in the area.

Music is lit, they always try to play a mixture of songs such as Arabic, English, afghan, Spanish and ofcourse blend it in with some throwback and brown music. So you will definitely know at least more than one song. The theme is blue which is extended to food where you will find your rice served blue (awesome). Over all their food tastes good, the meat items taste better than the chicken. In terms of sheesha it is alright- they will bring it with filters and coals then its pretty much a self serve to keep the sheesha alive..lol, but they tend to have a good variety on flavours. Service is responsive, they have a remote stand on each table where you can press buttons to call the server.

I always enjoy coming to Cyan. The ambience is really nice. DJ nights are fun and prefect when it’s a friends birthday. Have had quite a few parties here over the years. It can get a bit loud and difficult to hear your friends you're sitting with. Always find their food to be delicious. Good food presentation. Shisha is good. The server call buttons (for service, water, etc) are kinda useless, as we have waited around after pressing the button and then we just end up flagging a server down. Regardless of this, I do return. The servers are friendly. It’s a great venue overall. Always prepare to be on a wait list on the weekends (pre-covid). Thanks Cyan! :)

MUST READ before you consider visiting the place Not sure where to begin, but I definitely believe I should share my own experience at this place with everyone on here. You guys MUST re-think about visiting this place after you read my own ungratified experience, just like the rest of the recent bad comments shared by others on here.

Poor customer service can sour a night out or special occasion. So writing a complaint post or letter ideally provides an opportunity for the restaurant manager or owner to apologize or in some cases you may even receive a refund or a voucher. HOWEVER, this was not the case with the Owner of this place. Last night, my friend and I went out to this place and we were extremely disappointed by the poor attitude of MOST of your staff. To say the truth, our server was kinda the best one on floor. She tried her best to stop by every now and then to check on us. Unlike the shisha guy, who took forever to serve us, yelled at my friend, brought his other friends to pick a fight with my friend (who is a customer at the place) and threatened us in front of everyone. Mind you we had the most expensive table of that night (our bill was over $400). The story does not end there!! One of our guys knew the owners through his brother. So the Owner reached out to my friend via phone and asked about what happened. Unfortunately, he was not concerned about the poor customer service we encountered as much as he wanted us to delete our truthful comments my friends had shared on here. So here is a little advise for you, shorty bold ignorant, educate yourself and level up your customer service game. It is must been extremely hard for you to receive all those recent bad reviews here (as you guys can read by scrolling down and reading the recent bad experiences people had with the unhealthy attitude of this owner). As a business owner, I understand your frustration but things do not get handled this poor way. You do not go after your customers social media pages bugging them to delete the truthful comments they shared of their own experiences at your place, and you start attacking them personally and threatening them not to come visit the place in a very unprofessional manner which reflects your personal perspective attitude of handling your business. Level up your game. Your poor manners are a disgrace to this place and the rest of the owners who have worked so hard to build up their reputation, that is being spoiled by your ignorant...

If I could I would give 0 stars but it didn't allow me to. Also would like to point out that this arab place is nothing close to what I'm used to. You're looking at a 10-15 minute wait at minimum on a dead day due to no service. Lol god knows what would happen if it was actually busy then probably an hour but then again been here many times and never been busy to the point where no seats are available. They always say the good spots are reserved which is really funny because we get seated then sit for abit and never gets occupied so I wonder who keeps reserving seats. These Arabs ruin all other Arabs in my eyes. Food cold also never once got my order right oh and minimum selection of flavours so If u like grape lemon and mint u could never get because it due to them having prepacked shisha heads so it's either grape mint or lemon mint oh two bad if u want the grape and lemon mint together because whoever owns the place doesn't know what a hookah is or else he would teach them to open the pre packed heads and mix them (probably a 30 second procedure) but who cares because they tell you they can't and on top of that so rude with the way they talk and had the nerve to say get both and take a toke from each and there's your mix. I'm amazed these guys are still open also becarefull!!!! They always add something extra to the bill and once left with the bill mostly try and avoid u if u notice it so they don't have to fix the issue. I can go on and on also the people walking aren't servers because you end up having to go to the cash / bar area to self serve and order like its Scarborough lol they also never apologize for any mistakes and if they forget to bring you an item that you ordered too bad because if they didn't bring it it still counts because they said they remember bringing it to you and that you are in other words lying that you never received it because the service is never bad according to them. Cyan service In simpler words is the service button it's broken and useless anyway don't know why I ever stopped going to mandala I guess for the alcohol but I rather be sober and enjoy myself rather than drink so much to not care about these problems ANYONE WANT TO GO...

Would give zero stars if possible. Go somewhere else to eat first then come for the hookah. Food has Keg prices for low quality meat and sandwich options.

Food: Kebabs were burnt, chicken was super dry. Chicken schnitzel sandwich wasn't the worst... But the bun wasn't toasted or even warmed. Lacked flavour and was also dry. Their rice tasted like it was made in a Walmart rice cooker. Fries were pure Costco. Salads were very average. The dip trio was served with dry baguette bread that could have been a week old. The dips were not all that bad, but not worth the price.

Service: Service was terrible. Waited 50 minutes for 4 meals. Hence why the food was all burnt. Server never came to clear dirty plates from tables or check in on how the food was. When we were 50 minutes into waiting, I told the manager. Zero sympathy and he couldn't have cared less. Didn't apologize and did nothing at all to address the issue. When the manager brought us the bill, the entire table was covered in dirty dishes. He left the bill and didn't take a single plate with him. Absolutely laughable.

Hookah: Our watermelon mint was not good at all, but the orange flavour was good and lasted quite a while.

Overall: Nice ambiance, average hookah, comfortable seating. garbage food for the price. Could be justified if prices were not that of the keg. service - absolute joke. Server and manager were at the side table smoking hookah while our table was left dirty for the duration of our time there.

It's sad that people who are left in charge of places like this lack any common sense or industry knowledge. A complete inability to see the bigger picture of guest experience, and would rather sit with their friends than work.

This place has been around for a while and it was my first time there and will surely be my last. Doesn't look like they respond or care much for Google reviews anyway, so likely the ownership and upper management has a trickle down effect to their poorly trained and lazy staff.

Do not visit this establishment for more than a coffee and a hookah, buy don't expect any kind of decent service...
