Came by Cotolet for dinner on a Saturday night around 6 pm. Thankfully we didn't have to wait for a table for four but after we sat down, the restaurant was essentially full as the other three empty tables (two for four and one for six) were reserved and a table for two was filled by another customer a couple minutes after. Throughout my meal as well, I noticed a steady flow of people who were coming in (they didn't reserve and had to wait a couple minutes for tables to be cleaned).
Their menu is small as they primarily focus on a couple specialty pastas and their katsu. Besides that, they also offer some appetizers like wings. I ordered the SEAFOOD CREAM PORK LOIN for myself which came with a bowl of miso soup to start, as well as a side salad and rice with the main entree. In terms of first impressions, I was impressed. The food was beautifully plated. The pork loin katsu was tender and not dry; but I also got to sneak a bite of my company's chicken katsu, which I preferred more since it was also tender and not dry, but a little less dense than the pork. The seafood cream was a winner! Very flavorful with the subtlest spice. They gave me enough sauce for both my meat and rice which made me happy. They also include a mussel to eat, which was decent in size. Portions left me stuffed!
My other company ordered their BULGOGI CREAM PASTA which was also beautifully presented. A very saucy and flavorful dish as well, but significantly spicier which I loved.
Service was super friendly. We were served in a timely manner with politeness and even asked on separate occasions how things were going.
Overall, a very pleasant dinner experience here at Cotolet. Quality, portions, and service were all there. The only downside I can think of was price, as it is about $20-30 per person, but this is also a very typical price range for this...

Don’t want to give a bad review since the staff were nice enough to take my special request over the phone, as I didn’t note it on the Ubereat order.
However, just want to feedback to the restaurant that there’s sand and dirt in the salad veggie (close to the root part). Rinsing it thoroughly is needed.
Very quiet during Monday lunch. We were the only customers and we were worried that the food may not taste good.
Service is quick and friendly. Greeted with an energetic waitress and asked if we want hot or cold water.
Menu is rather simple. Snacks, drinks, pasta and katsu. We were here for katsu so we didn’t try other items.
We try Japanese sauce with chicken, and creamy mushroom with fish. I personally enjoy the fish katsu more. It’s fried to perfection and the mushroom sauce go well with the fish.
One thing to note is the mushroom sauce is poured all over the fish katsu when served, but the sauce for chicken katsu is on the side. We were worried the fish katsu will be soggy very quick but it stayed crispy till our last bite.
Overall, its tasty and portion is huge. Yes, it’s not cheap,...

— July 31, 2024: 1st visit 5/5 stars We were craving good tonkatsu and Cotolet nailed it for us! We have been here many times and have not been disappointed with their consistency of making good tonkatsu each time :)
The pork loin with brown demi-glace sauce was awesome! It was crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. Would recommend asking for the demi-glace sauce on the side so that you can dip the pork loin into the sauce and have the crispiness with eat bite versus the sauce making the pork loin soggy over time.
The okonomiyaki was light and delicious. It’s worth getting if you are looking for something light.
The soy garlic chicken karaage was delicious. It had the perfect combo of crispiness and savouriness :) It was so good that we forgot to...
