Gandom Bakery — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

If you can not read Arabic, please note that the word Gandom does not appear on the sign of this shop. It is a takeout only bakery with many items from Iran as well as on-site bakery of various Iranian pitas (4 different ones in either whole wheat flour or regular as well as a few varieties of breads. Since I was not familiar with their offering, another customer took the time to explain what many items were. He told me that he lives far away and comes there a few times a month and buys a lot of breads which he freezes at home. The service was very friendly and helpful and the employee even brought me oven fresh pitas although it was after 4pm. The breads were very tasty and different (better) from the pitas that ones get on supermarkets. Prices are lower Ghana similar products @ supermarkets. There are a lots of free parking spots available at this plaza. The Breads: You can find a great variety of Iranian breads in this bakery. They cook BarBari Bread, Sangak Bread, and Taftoon Bread on daily basis. Also you can buy Shirmal Bread from this bakery. The quality of breads is great and all of them taste great.
