Don't live around there but had to be in the area for business for few days. I gave the place 2 visits in January within 3 days, first visit a scruffy man with no uniform who seemed to be either the store manager or the owner, told me AMEX was not accepted to pay for my order, told him I'll go to my car to bring another card, then said it's ok machine "may or may not" accept it, which it did as all other pizza pizza stores. The men's washroom was in horrendous condition with no papers, .. ladies' washroom was out of order with some objects piled in front of the door, ..couple days later second visit, two ladies were behind the counter and I paid for my order with AMEX without any of them mentioning anything about issues with AMEX, just as I paid the same man came over and gave me a look, as I was waiting for my order I could hear a loud enough conversation between the 3 of them from the kitchen area, I heard the man saying loudly "this is the baldy's slice", well I can only imagine he meant me since I was the only customer in the store and I do have a bit of thining going on the top 😁, . now what makes it funnier is that the man himself has a heavy set of badly done hair transplant on his entire head, anyhoo, the washrooms were in the same exact condition with no papers and the same graphic stains all over as two days prior, a sure enough indication of what can be possibly happening in the kitchen. Another thing to mention is the loud conversation about some people's personal matters coming from the kitchen area that I'm sure nobody wants to be subject to hearing while having a quick lunch. Google needs to come up with "0" or "minus" star rating, and this place would perfectly fit that score. Yours truly, the bald man 😁
Edit, a response from presumably the owner, rather a company looking over the google reviews, asking for "exact details" of my order of a single slice of pizza to make things right, seriously?! .. you guys have a much bigger problem in that store ... unqualified people with major character issues representing the company. Heck, I get better customer service from hotdog vendors, all due respect to them all. ...
Read moreThe only star belongs to 2 of the 3 employees at the pick up location. I ordered pizza at 6:25pm told them I wanted a 2 medium pizza type deal. I ended up ordering the largest instead cause they told me it would be the same price and it came with 3 pop. I also said I would pick it up at 7:05pm so make it ready for then. One cheese pizza for my son to eat from and 3 toppings on the rest of the adults pizza. When I went to pick it up there was only one pizza with 3 toppings. So I paid for it and told them there was suppose to be another pizza. They didn't have the order for it. So one guy said he would make the cheese but they wanted to charge me for it. I called customer service and they agreed that the cheese would be free. When they sent the order threw it said I still had to pay for it. I called customer service back and they again said it would be free. Not the case. The 3rd time I called customer service they called the store and told them it should be free. By this time I had been there an hour past pick up time. Now it was cold. They had to redo the whole order. Very poor communication between the customer service and the store. I decided that if I wasn't getting what I ordered I wanted my money back. The 1 guy behind the counter said no. Lucky I am a calm customer because telling someone that can't have there money back someone else might have jumped over the counter to handle things another way. In the end I had to pay only for the cheese pizza which really they should have comp'd the whole order. Crazy night when all I wanted was to pick up some pizza take it home and eat while it was still hot. Thanks to the guy on cash and the cook. The other idiot. Lucky for him it was me as a customer.
Pizzapizza.ca has only 2 options delivery and pick up. Neither for me when I need...
Read moreDuring our lunch break, my friend and I decided to revisit the Pizza Pizza that we used to frequent on our way home from work years ago. To our delight, we discovered that it was still open and ready to serve us our favorite comfort food.
We ordered a Supreme Pizza and a poutine, both of which were nostalgic choices for us. The Supreme Pizza was loaded with toppings and had a perfect balance of flavors. The crust was crispy on the outside, yet soft and chewy on the inside. Each bite was a reminder of why we loved this pizza place in the first place.
The poutine was equally delightful. The golden fries were cooked to perfection and topped generously with rich gravy and melted cheese curds. It was the perfect combination of savory and indulgent, bringing back memories of the delicious poutines we used to enjoy after a long day at work.
The service at Pizza Pizza was prompt and friendly. The staff members greeted us with a warm welcome and made sure our order was prepared to our liking. The restaurant itself had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to enjoy our meal and catch up with each other.
Revisiting this Pizza Pizza was a nostalgic experience that exceeded our expectations. The fact that it was still open after all these years was a testament to its enduring quality and popularity. We left the restaurant with satisfied bellies and a sense of nostalgia, grateful for the opportunity to relive our fond memories. If you're in the area and looking for a delicious and familiar pizza place, we highly recommend giving Pizza...
