Okay so Pizza Pizza used to ALWAYS be my go to when it came to ordering pizza for those lazy nights when I didn't want to cook! I won't dock any stars from this restaurant because I know it was the decision of the higher ups that is now RUINING the menu for everyone by doing the following recently:
•charging for what used to be FREE toppings like a BBQ sauce drizzle •charging for "premium" meats like bacon strips/changing of cheeses •most recently they started charging for any base sauce other than tomato 😤
Like I said, this is obviously no fault of this location but generally speaking to the execs of Pizza Pizza, why "fix" something that wasn't broken?!

There is limited seating space available, though it wasn't busy at all during the off hours. The food preparation times were okay- wedges took 5 minutes and 2 large pizzas took 15 minutes. The cashier was courteous and made sure everything was fine with the order before we left.
My gripe with this store is that they do not appear to honour the Student Price Card (SPC) promotion (specifically the $5 off a large 3 topping pizza), despite being listed as eligible on the SPC website and being a walk in order. They said that the manager only allowed it with a coupon and the card (which makes the card pointless), or if I left the card with them as proof of payment (which is unheard of).
I ordered with the intention of utilizing the discount- had I known they wouldn't reasonably offer it, I would have saved myself a 30 minute wait overall and ordered in advance. This doesn't seem to be a one off issue as well- the customer behind me had a pricing promotion issue with her order as well.
Edit: I've downgraded my review from 3 stars due to consistent unsatisfactory encounters with the service here.
They refuse to give you any more supplies than what they think you need for your order. We were denied a small box to split a $40 order. In the end they reluctantly parted ways with 2 paper plates and bags.
It's sad to see when a business's customer service has degraded to the point of denying customers...

WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. I went in to order a pizza they barely took my order, started making the pizza and continued to ignore me while I was trying to pay for my order. He continuously ignored me, and wouldn't answer when I spoke to him. They do not know anything about their menu nor do they give you a chance to tell them what you're trying to order. He got my order completely wrong and while I was trying to order another item he walked away. When he messed up he did not try to fix the order. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, he didn't not even acknowledge our existence. They take their sweet time to do things. After I was trying to be nice he told me that he was very tired, which is understandable but when you are tired you still have to put up a front because I am the customer and I am paying for the food. Once we received the food it was burnt. Not only did he get our order wrong but he started to fight with us. I do not recommend ever going to this location.
