I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and my experience had both positive and negative aspects. 😊😊 The staff were a highlight of the visit—they were friendly, attentive, and did their jobs perfectly, ensuring that we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our meal. The restaurant’s design was also impressive, with a modern and stylish interior that created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It’s a place that feels good to sit in and enjoy a meal with family or friends. The portion sizes of the food were just right, leaving us feeling satisfied but not overly full. Another big advantage of this place is the ample free parking available, which made the visit hassle-free and convenient. Additionally, after calling more than ten other restaurants, this was the only place that had chicken with bone on the menu, which I appreciated. 😐😐 However, there were a few disappointing aspects that took away from the experience. The taste of the chicken, which I was really looking forward to, was underwhelming. It lacked flavor and didn’t live up to my expectations. I had anticipated something delicious and well-seasoned, but it turned out to be quite ordinary, bordering on bland. This was a letdown, especially since the rest of the experience had set such a good tone. Another issue was an incident involving the manager. During our visit, the manager had an argument with some staff members, and it was loud enough for customers to hear. This felt unprofessional and disrupted the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. A restaurant should feel like a stress-free environment, and such moments can detract from the overall experience. Overall, the restaurant has great potential with its friendly staff, lovely design, and good atmosphere. However, improving the flavor of the food and addressing management’s professionalism would elevate it to a much higher standard. While my first visit was a bit mixed, I can see how this place could become a favorite with a few adjustments.

Roses Kebab-land is an excellent place to enjoy Persian style kebabs (fire grilled meet) We ordered their avocado chicken and Barg kebab (fillet mignon style) as seen in the pictures. Both were delicious excellently prepared. The meet in the fillet mignon was so tender and juicy. The avocado chicken, which you probably won’t find elsewhere, was a magical combination of chicken breast and avocado making it super delicious. The foods come with a big portion of rice (we together couldn’t finish one of the rice portions) as well as veggies as also seen in the pictures. The place is beautifully decorated with big wooden barrels stuck in the ceiling (how have they implemented this!) and very beautiful and stylish lamps! I started looking for those lamps in Amazon! I wish I had a picture of the surrounding as well but we were quite excited about the food and as soon as it came, we took these pix and set the phone aside! The service was great and the ladies were walking around all the time ready to help with what you needed. We also ordered an excellent walnut yoghurt juice which I strongly recommend. You’ll get small pieces of walnut in it which makes it very special. Conveniently places on the south west corner of Yonge and 16th, this kebab place is a great restaurant if you’re hungry and in the mood for some good meet in Richmond Hill!

I recently dined at a Persian restaurant with my family in Toronto, and I must say that our overall experience was extremely unsatisfactory. Despite the pleasant atmosphere and attractive decorations, the numerous issues we encountered left us disappointed and frustrated. First and foremost, the restroom facilities were appalling. The conditions resembled those of a run-down gas station in the middle of nowhere. The ladies' restroom was particularly filthy, with clogged toilets and a wet surface that made it uncomfortable to use. To make matters worse, the men's restroom lacked basic necessities such as towel paper, further reflecting the restaurant's negligence in maintaining proper hygiene. Adding to our dissatisfaction was the server's rude and neglectful behavior. Once she delivered our dishes, she never bothered to check on our table again. We ordered a platter for four people, and only came with two BBQ tomatoes. When we tried to order an extra skewer, the server completely ignored our attempts to get her attention, despite waving our hands multiple times. Moreover, she failed to provide bread for the table. When we finally approached her about the tomatoes, she not only denied her negligent behavior but also had the audacity to offer them after we had finished our meal. Her overall demeanor was rude and disrespectful, adding to our disappointment. Additionally, the cost of the meal did not justify the quality of the food. While the Shishlik and Barg were commendable, the Toursh and Koubideh kababs were only average in taste. Given the mediocre quality, the pricing felt excessive, leaving us feeling unsatisfied with the value for money. Although the restaurant's atmosphere and decorations were noteworthy, the deplorable restroom conditions, the server's rude behavior, and the lackluster food quality overshadowed any positive aspects. Therefore, I regrettably cannot recommend this Persian restaurant to others, and I plan to leave a 1-star review on Google to reflect my disappointment accurately.

Treated differently - why? Possibly the worst service I’ve experienced, all round bad, bizarre and rude experience, it will most definitely be our first and last time here. The food was good(so hats off to the kitchen), but our server was rude, strange and “catty” to say the least. We were seated at a table where someone had just left and it wasn’t wiped down when she seated us, got over that. During our first and main course we noticed that we had different plane white porcelain plates and silver crockery - compared to LITERALLY EVERYONE else who was eating with gold crockery and gold rimmed plates, including the two who were seated beside us who arrived during our meal. We said hmmmm weird but, we wondered why? After we had paid, my wife left the restaurant to get the car and I went to use the bathroom, as I was leaving the restaurant our server gave me such a pathetic dirty look, the type you get from spoiled jealous teenager… girl you are too old for this. Life is very short and you should do some soul searching, look inside and find out why you would do this - it costs you zero to be nice, not to mention you are letting your entire team and establishment down with such low class behaviour. Oh and to finish, they were resetting our table with gold crockery and gold rimmed plates.

Came here for lunch with a friend. It was a very nice experience. We came on a Tuesday afternoon so the restaurants wasn't anywhere close to full. I assume Friday or Saturday would be a very different story. The service was friendly enough. No physical menus, accessed by QR code (English and Persian options). And there was lots of the menu, mostly kebab plates - which my friend and I ordered. The only downside here is that the menu didn't offer any explanation of what the Persian words meant and does not offer any description of what's included on a plate. Had to google the names to know what some of the meats were, and not a lot of information what came on the side. Thankfully there is a picture for each item which does help! The food was delicious! At first I thought it was a bit pricey, but the portion sizes definitely match the price. Since I didn't eat breakfast, I was able to finish it all, but wow!!! That was a lot of amazing food. They didn't skimp on the meat, it was seasoned and cook very well. And surprisingly, the rice was a highlight not just a filler! Not sure when I will be back here, but I think I will have to come again :)

We had a party here with live music that lasted throughout the night. While I enjoyed the food, some of my friends were not impressed. There was an abundance of rice served with the main courses, which was a notable observation. I particularly enjoyed the mixed appetizer dip with bread as it was very tasty. However, the price of $50 for 6 small dishes seemed steep compared to similar options available elsewhere at a lower cost. Additionally, there was an extra charge of $10 per person for the live music, on top of our food and drinks expenses. Since I did not consume any alcoholic beverages, my total bill was $60. In contrast, my friends who indulged in a few drinks ended up with bills exceeding $110 each. The music could get loud, especially for those seated near the band, with people dancing around the tables. Our party was 34 people however the restaurant divided the only 30 people for the 8 appetizer so end up each person over paid some $$…we noticed but didn’t wanted to argue when having a party. Despite these observations, the overall experience was enjoyable.
