I have been to this restaurant for years since they first opened. At the beginning they would constantly get my order wrong but eventually it got better and there were no issues. The service has never been great but the prices made it worth it. This past summer I went and they mixed up my order with someone else's. No big deal so I went back and got the correct wraps. Just yesterday I went and they screwed up my order again. I had photos of the wraps made wrong and a copy of my receipt. I was informed that they could not do anything because they didn't believe me. They accused me of making it all up. In a scenario where you can dispute something like customer service I get it, we all interpret things differently. In this situation however, I have the photos to prove that they made a mistake. At the end of the phone call I said that I am looking for a refund and replacement wraps. The person on the phone said "Ok, fine whatever". Again, not great customer service but what can you do? I came in later in the day and was met with great hostility. I was told again that I was making things up even though I showed them the photos in person. They had me wait around, called the owner and went back and forth only to finally accept that they made a mistake this time. I was told however that they would only do a refund OR the replacement wraps. In general, that is a fine solution, but not after everything that occurred through this process. Eventually they just handed me money and told me to get out. The customer service was of course not great and the fact that they had the audacity to argue photos is beyond me.
For the price people will still go but just beware of what you get food and otherwise. I'm also not the only one with the issues. For the price, I guess they...
Read moreStepping into Tasty Shawarma was like entering a haven for shawarma enthusiasts. From the moment I glanced at the menu, I knew I was in for a treat. What caught my attention first were the combos, boasting an impressive array of options at remarkably affordable prices. It was refreshing to find a place that not only offers quality food but also understands the importance of providing value to its customers.
After much deliberation, I settled on one of their signature combos, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The aroma of the freshly grilled meat paired with the tantalizing blend of spices was enough to make my mouth water. And when I took that first bite, I was hooked. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying.
What truly stood out to me, aside from the delicious food, was the exceptional customer service. The staff at Tasty Shawarma went above and beyond to ensure that every customer felt welcomed and valued. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and prompt attention. They were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations based on my preferences.
But it wasn't just the efficiency of the service that impressed me; it was the genuine kindness and hospitality of the staff that left a lasting impression. It's rare to find a place where the staff genuinely cares about the satisfaction of their customers, but Tasty Shawarma nailed it.
Overall, my experience at Tasty Shawarma was nothing short of fantastic. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was outstanding. Whether you're a shawarma aficionado or just looking for a tasty and affordable meal, I highly recommend giving Tasty Shawarma a try. You won't be...
Read moreFirst off I find it kind of weird going into a shawarma place where you can't see the workers making your sandwich, and I believe there is a good reason why the best shawarma places are open for everyone to see.
I will not be going back to this place. The one and only reason is because I have a very good feeling after your chicken is cut off the stick it's cooked on the same grill as the beef. I'm sure this is standard at most places, but if I can see that's how they do it then I would just leave. When I order a chicken shawarma I expect it to be only chicken and not find chunks of chewy beef in it. Most readers might not find this an issue but if you don't eat beef then you will totally understand. This is the equivalent of a Muslim or Jew finding a strip of bacon or sausage in their sandwich or a Sikh finding out their meat dish is Halal or a Vegetarian finding a piece of a cooked dead animal mixed in their food. I hope I made my point.
Over all the sandwich was standard. The "mint dressing" was interesting. It could have done without it and used a regular garlic dressing. The portion was great. The pricing was great. The service... they put pickles in my sandwich when I asked for none... and the unexpected beef mixed in with the chicken well what can you do when there is a nicely tiled wall in between you and the shawarma food prep team?... The service was ok.
The only saving grace this place has is the potato wedges. Bloody Hell!!!!... wedges are...
