This Tim Hortons location is the most convenient coffee shop for me so I've given it multiple chances over the past few months to see if the experience would improve. Unfortunately the evening shift staff member wearing glasses consistently delivers rude and unprofessional customer service.
I understand that working in retail can be challenging but there's no excuse for the level of hostility and disrespect that I’ve experienced here. I honestly have no idea where the rudeness stems for as the treatment feels unnecessarily personal and it is as if I'm inconveniencing her just by being there. If providing decent customer service is such a challenge, perhaps it’s time for her to reconsider working in retail.

Read moreI would give them zero because one of the employees’s behaviour that I saw her today when I was picking up my drive through order. She had no sense of Canadian customer service. I gave her money and showed my phone at a same time to scan for Tims rewards. She gave me back the change and didn’t scan. When I asked her why she didn’t scan, she looked at me angrily and told me (not English) you should asked me to scan it. The way that she talked to me was totally inappropriate and disrespectful. I was getting a coffee for myself to start a nice day but she ruined it. She didn’t try to solve the problem and satisfy her customer instead she rolled her eyes and talked harshly. Read moreThe morning shift was extremely rude. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich, which was supposed to be free through the app for my birthday. I repeated my order a few times, but the lady still asked if I wanted a sausage or bacon sandwich. When I got to the window, they had wanted to charge me for three sandwiches even though I only ordered one.
I told them I had a coupon to redeem my order, and the lady at the window told me (rudely) that my total was $4 and change. I asked why, since I had a coupon, and she snapped back that I had to scan it. When she handed me my order, she did so rudely, and when I said “thank you,” she completely ignored me and turned her face away.
