WORST SERVICE EVER! The food not bad and the place looks cool, but the service, omg. I have not had a worse experience. The most disrespectful service i have ever been witness to. 1 server not all. I wont call her racist because that word gets thrown out alot, Ill give her the benefit of doubt on that, but it felt pretty close to that (we are 4 indians, and the only indians in the place at the time)
So there is this older lady server that was assigned to the table, she asked for I.Ds as we order for some alcohol for the table, fair enough, thats their rules. We are 4 people in our 30s, 2 have thier IDs on them, i have forgotten my wallet in the car which is right outside, and the 4th person has forgotten her wallet at home. She said we cannot be served alcohol without IDs, fair. We then said the 4th person (she is 30) wont be drinking because she did not want to go all the way back home and i will get my ID from the car and then she can take the order. But she refuses and says even if 1 person on the table does not have an ID (even if she is not drinking) she wont be serving us, quite absurd but okay. The 4 of us then decide at the table that it wont be any fun if all of us dont drink, so we convince the 4th person to go home and her ID, the house is about a 15 minute cab ride, not a big deal. She goes to get her ID. I decide ill wait for her to come back and then get my ID, she wasnt taking our alcohol order in any case, so i wait. We have been served with water before this thing has started. We are three on the table at this point, 1 person saw that the water had ice in it, and did not want ice in her water. She decides to go up to the server to just ask her politely to serve a glass of water without ice. At this point, the server is extremely rude and tells her she cannot even serve water to the table unless we show IDs (she was one of the 2 who had IDs on them). on which my friend said she had shown her ID and is just asking for plain water, at which the server being extremely rude says she will not be serving water unless all 4 of us show her ID and starts pointing at the table. I didnt want to create a scene and i get up an get my wallet from the car. Now all 3 at the table have IDs and she still refuses to serve us water.
This is the most bizarre experience i have ever had in my life, to be refused water at a bar.
Throughout this, all of us have been very calm and havnt talked back, even after this absurd behavior being lashed out at us. We did end up staying there, just becasue none of us wanted to ruin the day (this is at 3 pm). We kept our cool, the 4th person comes back and the server HAS to come take the order. We order drinks and food and try to enjoy our time. we obviously did not tip. the old lady server had just left by the time we were done. The next server was very nice, she had no idea all this had transpired but i could not tip a place where i was treated so badly.
Wont say dont go there, becasue it does look like a cool place....but safe to say, I will not be going back there EVER!. This review is my way of getting back, not screaming and shouting when treated horribly. Good luck to the pub and to the server, i hope i never cross...

It was not busy, only one other occupied table on the patio while we were there and the inside of the restaurant was at about 20% capacity at the time.
Worst Mojito ever made. The server and the "manager" argued with us about it, telling us that the reason there was no mint in the beverage was "because mint is expensive". (which is strange considering they told us earlier that they have a great Mojito and that they grow the mint themselves). After complaining to the server, she left it on the table and walked away after telling us "that's the way we make it here". It was actually disgusting.
The the "manager" came out. He never introduced himself as the manger, he looked like an unemployed cowboy actually. He just walked up to the table and said, "I hear there is a problem." He didn't even look like he worked there. Who walks up to people on a patio and says that without introducing themselves first?
Then he starts arguing about the drink, telling us all the reasons we should like it. I finally stopped him and said, "Why are we talking about this, just take it off the table, take it off the bill and move on with life." Imagine serving a Mojito with a half a leaf of mint and flat soda water in a cocktail they charge $7-$10 for and telling the customer they're wrong for not liking it and that MINT IS EXPENSIVE?
He reluctantly took it away, with a scowl on his face. He never offered to get something else, remake it, nothing. In fact, nobody EVER came back to the table. We were never given menus. We were never asked if we wanted food. We didn't even get a bill.
We waited for 15 minutes, finished my beer (which we were told was on special). I put $5.00 under the glass and we made our way off the patio and around the side of the building where our motorcycles were parked. The "manager" suddenly appeared and accused us of shorting the bill. I told him nobody came back and we didn't get a bill, or a menu and that the service was the worst we'd ever experienced. He told us the beer was $5.95 (I think). I took back the five gave him a $10 told him that he should probably consider a different line of work because he's really bad at being a restaurant manager and asked him to please go away.
Mint is expensive. lol... so are your...
Read more. My friend and I drove out, from Surrey, to take my mother for lunch. We arrived at Legends at 1:20, was not extremely busy, which was nice as it was our first pub visit since COVID. So ordered wine for my mom, vodka soda cran for me, after for my friend. Vodka soda cran was awful, but decided not to say anything, anyway ordered appetizers for all of us to share, had to flag down our waitress , to add salsa sour cream and ranch for wings. During our time not once did she approach us to see how food was or if we wanted more to drink. I finally flagged down our waitress to order another drink, was not offered more wine or refill water. The drink came and it was honestly like watered down juice. However again we were not checked on at all. At 2:45 I asked for a container for the wings, which she brought and cleared dishes, did not notice I had not drank the drink. Now comes the good part, we sat there for 45 minutes waiting for a bill or even to be asked it we required anything else. She walked past our table 4 times with no acknowledgment. I am shocked at the service, on the 5 the time I finally said a comment regarding the drink, she then picked it up and took it away, but again no bill, unreal, finally asked for bill and requested I don’t pay for second drink. I decided to ask if they were short staffed, her reply was no, so I said why haven’t you once come by to check on our table, her response……. I have walked by. Truly disappointed in the service or lack there of, again not fair to legends to do a review, as food was good, did email but never heard...
