Edited: So after not going to this location for a while I decided to go again. I've went back so far twice this month, and so far the service is much better! Customer service is friendlier and got our orders right.
Previous post: I've finally had it with this McDonald's! I go here often because it's the closest one to my house. I rarely get anything for myself it's always for the kids. The drive thru service there is really horrible, I always ask for no straws, no condiments, and no toys in the Happy Meal and they make me feel that I am an inconvenience to them! My 3 kids also do not need more plastic toys and 3 of the same thing! But they still put a toy in it from time to time! This one time I looked in the Happy Meal boxes to make sure there is no toys before leaving and when there is a toy I tell them to take it back and they won't saying it's in the box already and it's covid related, I tell them I didn't touch it, so this lady I recognize, who is always rude everytime I see her, takes the toy roughly out and flips the bag of fries to fall all over in the box. At that time I didn't say anything. Other times I have ordered a regular meal for one of kids, I get medium apple juice but they give me a small and I have to correct them. There are other things she has done but this time around I finally had it when she gave me attitude, cut me off when I spoke, and chucked the BBQ sauce into the happy meal box when I told her I asked for BBQ and not sweet and sour. I had to go in and speak to the manager this time about her behaviour! I was so angry that I was holding myself back from blowing up and I couldn't think straight to tell the manager why I was so upset with the specific lady who served me! I'm a mother of three, two with special needs, I don't need someone to judge me especially when I'm getting food for my kids! That lady and most of the staff doesn't even seem happy working there, if the can't handle the pressure or stress they shouldn't be doing that job! No one forced them and if they need to work bc of circumstances then don't bring your personal business to affect your work! They also get my orders wrong 50% of the time! I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable going to McDonald's!...

Recently, I had one of the worst experiences at McDonald’s, and I feel it’s important to share just how frustrating and disappointing it was. What should have been a simple and quick meal turned into a stressful and upsetting situation, all because of poor service and careless mistakes.
From the moment I walked in, the staff treated me with an attitude that felt rude and unwelcoming. I wasn’t greeted properly, and it seemed like they couldn’t care less about my order. I understand that fast food jobs can be busy and stressful, but as a paying customer, I expected at least basic respect and professionalism. Instead, I felt like I was bothering them just by placing my order.
The real problem started when I received my food. Not only was my order completely wrong, but they also added pickles — even though I specifically told them no pickles because I’m allergic. This wasn’t just a simple mistake. It was a careless and dangerous one. Allergies are not something to take lightly, and the fact that they ignored my request put my health at serious risk.
When I tried to calmly explain the issue, the staff showed no real concern or apology. They acted as if it wasn’t a big deal, which only made the experience even worse. I left feeling angry, disappointed, and honestly a bit scared, knowing that one careless slip could’ve caused me a serious allergic reaction.
In the end, this visit to McDonald’s was not only a waste of money but also a reminder of how important it is for employees to pay attention to customer orders — especially when health and safety are involved. I hope the management takes situations like this more seriously in the future, because no one deserves to be treated like this, especially when their well-being is...
Read moreNo problem with the cashier taking orders. It was the one whose preparing the order. It was a hard day for us as my Aunt pick up Uncle from a doctors appointment and no time to make for food and decided to just order McDo at Cambie and Shell Road, Richmond. Unfortunately, when we got home.. check the bag and missing 2 of our order. Aunt called McDo and speak to a manager and just said came out from his meeting blah blah and said that apologized about what happen and said manager that he will communicate with the front desk to arrange a pick up for the missing order. My aunt told the manager to just send nephew and just mention about missing order to the window booth and they will know. It was tight this day for me as I picked a family from clinic knowing that We won’t do cooking much.. Was frustrated and feeling so angry as when your hungry and needed to eat someone. Because of trust and thinking that as a worker.. we always carry a big part of A in everything we do. Send my nephew and didn’t happen what the manager said to my Aunt, and the front cash at the MCDo store needed my Aunt to go personally and picked the missing orders, that’s ridiculous, meaning that the Manager whom my Aunt spoke with didn’t communicate what was agreed upon. How can they forget a chocolate milk and a chicken crispy wrap to put in the paper bag. Should be the food dispatch to make sure it’s everything...
