OPA! of Greece Ironwood Plaza — Restaurant in Richmond

I'm addicted to OPA, in the Ironwood District of Richmond, B.C.!

The food is SPECTACULAR, original, AND healthy - nothing comes close to it. And when I say "healthy", it's not the boring kind. Their menu is very unique, with so many choices, that you wouldn't even notice you were eating "healthy" (which is a GOOD thing)!

I, myself, am a Vegetarian. The options for vegetarians AND vegans are GREAT. They will also customize your order to ensure you are getting what you are craving at the moment. For me, it's their Falafel Wrap and of course, their one-of-a-kind seasoned French fries.

Now let's talk about their CUSTOMER SERVICE. A very important aspect to me (you're not just a "number" here - they take care to listen to what you want, make eye contact - rare these days - and are all appreciative of your business)! All the employees are great - they CARE about their establishment and it's very obvious, right down to their clean washrooms.

Although all employees are fabulous, I'd like to recognize one of their exemplary enployees - "Muskan". She handled everything like a pro when my husband and I discovered jalapeños in our Falafel Wraps (which we asked not be added). She didn't make us feel like we were taking advantage, she treated us with dignity, and rectified the issue ASAP. We are extremely grateful that is was handled so quickly and eloquently, I hope her Manager takes note of this! You are all lucky to have such a gem, and we've been back several times since that small hiccup that never occurred again.

I don't write many reviews, but this establishment really blows others out of the park and I wanted to express that. Please have a visit - you'll see what I mean.

New Owners & Staff 2024: I've been there twice since they reopened in March of 2024 and we are still in the first week of March.

I had the Grand Opening Special which is a great deal at $6.99.

The staff are friendly and polite. I very much appreciate that they are able to accommodate my food intolerances like the previous people that worked there did.

Glad they are open again and looking forward to getting my fix there.

Previous Owners & Staff 2023 and before: Five Stars The ladies at this location take care of me and I appreciate it. I have an intolerance to onions - I like them but they do not like me anymore. Some flavour essence is ok but I can't do strong onion flavour let alone eat them.

I also enjoy their beef platter as well as the wrap.

They are always friendly even when really busy. This keeps me driving to this location rather than anywhere else.

(Oh, and I say the ladies since I don't think I recall a male...

I come to this place often, they underwent new management just recently. I appreciate how clean it is under the new Management. Today I order via mobile app, come to say i was very disapointed with the food. First off the lamb was cold and overcooked. The overcooked part has happened before, but never has it been cold. Also the tomatoes are slimy and bad. I beleive they are ready for compost. I used to come on a regular basis. I think i will go elsewhere from now on. The quality of the food has dropped alot since the new management.
