Nov 2019 Edit: New review after another experience at this restaurant. Today I came back for eat-in service. I was not greeted or acknowledged at the door or at desk. I asked if I could seat myself. I was slowly given menu after a wait. Then another fifteen minutes later someone came to see if I wanted food. I asked a simple question about the yellow curry and what vegetables are in it. Pineapple was the only answer after multiple go rounds. I had never heard of this type of vegetarian yellow curry. No other veggies, just pineapple. I asked if they had yellow curry with potatoes, carrots, onion etc. I was shut down by being told "that's Japanese curry!" I've had those vegetables in Thai curry before. I've never had Japanese curry or heard of it. I've had Thai curry many times. She was dismissive and denied I've eaten Thai curry. She said once again vegetarian yellow curry is with pineapple. (I'm pretty sure pineapple is a fruit). Anyway. No other veggies could be named. She shrugged and walked away in frustration. She hovered at the cash register with other employees and they stared in my direction. No one else came to assist or take my order. So I guess if I didn't want pineapple yellow curry, no service. Very strange customer service. Since I was no longer allowed to order anything, I left.
Fall 2018...Loved it. Was delightfully surprised after walking into an empty restaurant. The staff spoke limited English, but was super friendly and energetic. Our food arrived within five minutes of ordering and was generous portions and great tasting. We had a great meal. I would highly recommend. Casual dining. Not too expensive....
Read moreWent here for Friday night dinner with family- all of us vegetarian (for religious reasons). We ordered Veg Pad Thai, Peppery Tofu, Veggie Red Curry and rice. Veg Red Curry- the waitress brought out the curry with chicken on top, and I immediately called her back and had to remind her (After I had already asked 5 times about veggie options) that we ordered vegetable red curry. So she took it back and magically within 5 minutes it was out again with “no chicken”. Two spoons into the curry, we discovered CHUNKS OF CHICKEN settled into the bottom. We called the waitress over and told her that she obviously had just picked the pieces of chicken out and given us the Curry back- she laughed, denied and walked away. The other server came over and said “ok I make it free”. Still no one had one apologized, just denied that they had simply picked chicken out to avoid making a fresh curry for us. At this point we had entirely lost our appetite for the ketchup sauced Pad Thai and the day old rice. I tried to speak with the server again in the hopes that she would understand why we were upset, and she avoided making eye contact and pretended to be busy with receipts.
Not only was this the worst $30 meal that I threw up, but a disrespectful...
Read moreWe have been ordering delivery for years from Thai Kitchen. Ordered padthai and a few other things for delivery as we always do. After the order was delivered, we found out they gave us fried rice instead of padthai. When we called back to advise them, they stated that they were very sorry and that they would give us a free padthai next time. They were unable to deliver a padthai as the chef had left for the night, even though it was only 640pm. This was on September 23. We called to order again tonight and when we asked about the free padthai, the girl on the phone was rude and stated there's nothing stated on their computer. She said she would have to ask her manager. When we asked her to do so, she stated that her manager was not there and she wasn't going to call him to ask. Due to this unfortunate call taker at the restaurant and her rude attitude, you have lost a long time customer and many more. Service and quality of food has gone down dramatically over the years... This was the last straw. If you read other reviews for this restaurant, this is not the first time...
