I’ve been a loyal customer of this establishment for some time now, and up until recently, I’ve had mostly positive experiences—thanks in large part to the friendly and accommodating staff. However, my recent visit left me shocked and deeply disappointed due to the behavior of the manager, who clearly lacks both professionalism and basic customer service skills.
When I attempted to order a drink that, while not officially on the menu, has been kindly made for me numerous times by other employees without issue, the manager responded in an unnecessarily rude and dismissive tone. Instead of calmly explaining any policy or limitation, she chose to speak to me with blatant disrespect and condescension, as if my request was completely unreasonable.
It's baffling that someone in a leadership position would treat customers so poorly—especially over something that has never been a problem before. The contrast between this manager's attitude and the rest of the team’s helpfulness is staggering. If anything, the rest of the staff has always gone above and beyond to make the experience pleasant.
Management should be setting the standard for excellent service, not destroying it. Until this issue is addressed, I will be taking my business elsewhere—and advising others to do the same.

Had to drive all the way back to #2 Road & Blundell. I ensured to be polite and discreet so as not to startle the other customers. The dirty look and disgusted attitude from the staff behind the counter was unbelievable!!! WORST customer service experience I've ever had!! A simple apology and taking ownership of the mistake would have gone a long way. And to think I took their image to the other customers into consideration!!!! Read moreterrible customer service and terrible customer experience.. female staff at counter was so judgemental...she gave us such a dirty attitude when my friend and i fought for a bill. it lengthened the check out time by 5 seconds, and there was no lineup. my friends and i sat until their closing time, which is 11, and we packed and got up and i had to go to the washroom. I was DENIED the use of the washroom because it was 11:02pm. i have NEVER been to a cafe, that SELLS DRINKS, that denied me washroom, even when it is around their closing time. i think you guys need to understand basic human decency and be more generous and understanding to your customers....so not to make people run around at 11 pm looking for washrooms.
