This review is not related to food, however it is related to my "experience".
I was minding my own business walking around the Blundell plaza with my 11 month puppy. And as a puppy, they like to pee on random things, this is called "marking". He was marking basically every post so he did not have much to let out. As I was approaching Round Table Pizza, my dog stopped right before the glass wall of his store and marked his 'territory' (nothing came out, he only did the motion of raising his leg). Keep in mind that I said that my dog had stopped RIGHT BEFORE the store. I'm not sure if he was just a worker or the owner of the store but a man stared at me from inside the store. I thought it was odd and so I walked away. He then came out of the store only to yell at me about how my dog was not allowed to relieve himself on 'his' property. I replied with an apology and and explanation that dogs don't get to choose where or when they want to relieve themselves and tried to walk away again. He replied with screaming and yelling and he then began threatening my dog. I could not tell if he said kick or kill but he said, word for word, "don't come back to my property again with that! or else i will kick/kill your dog!"
I am in complete disbelief. I cannot believe that someone would threaten to hurt a living being, especially someone's loved one. This is absolutely disgusting. So for current and future customers, you may enjoy eating the pizza which is fine, but please keep in mind what kind of person is making the pizza and who is he is. He is a disgusting lowlife that will apparently have no problem causing injury...
Read moreI've eaten here two other times and the Pizza has always been tasty. Both of these experiences were based on walk in. Today I wanted to place an order online so I created an online account and placed the order. Before I confirmed the order I noticed that the food prices in my online cart were more than what the online menu says! So I called in to inquire as to why. I tried to explain my issue and the worker said, "The online prices are higher!!". I was like What?? The whole point of ordering online makes it an efficient process and valuable tool for the owner who doesn't have to stop what he's doing to answer the phone. I was shocked, so I said, "Well if I order online (at the higher prices) will you correct the prices in store before I pay?". He just proceeded to discourage me from ordering online and to just call the order in 20 minutes before I wanted to pick up. Why have an online ordering feature if the prices aren't the same as the menu. Makes no sense. I would actually have the online menu pricing 5% lower to encourage my customers to order online! That would make it more efficient for me! So I guess the old "waste my time and call in when it's inconvenient" wins...
Read moreAnd....we're back. After about 2 years absence with going to 2-1 Canadian Pizza and having them screw up our order time and time again, charging us for topping we never got, ASKING them to recheck the order before delivery, we gave up and decided to come back to Round Table. We had left previously as they were having issues with delivery service (one specific driver was the issue) which forced us to look elsewhere...we always loved their pizzas, but delivery service was falling short at the time. . So finally decided make a return tonight. Driver was awesome friendly and spoke directly how they looked up our previous history and welcomed us back. We felt the love ;) And the pizzas? Oh how we missed you Round Table. OMG, the toppings! LOOK at all those toppings and about $20 less than what 2-1 Canadian Pizza "thought" was comparable for the same 2 large pizzas. We're giving ourselves a big head shake...we left THIS over one sloppy driver?
Stop searching for a decent pizza place in Richmond...you'll find no better than Round Table...believe me, we've tried.!
Again...LOOK AT ALL THOSE...
