Great little restaurant that is open til 2am. Serves more authentic Chinese food and has lots of options for hotpot and congee. My fav is the szchewan beef and they do a great fried rice. Combos are the best deal but the substitution fees can be a bit high ($5 on one item) Their spring rolls and wonton soup are really good too
Can get pricey.. the dinner for 6 is about $80. Offers delivery and skip the dishes.
Food is packaged well and usually arrives hot. Never had a missing item. If you order delivery they accept credit cards over the phone (you read them the info and they manually process it through a square reader) they add a fee and a tip (mandatory)
They can get really busy and often have large groups even late night. People seem to drink a lot here.
Parking lot can be really busy.. there is more parking down a tight alley next to the building but be careful if you have a large vehicle. We usually park in the next door lot of value village if the gates are open especially late night when value village is closed. You can't drive between the two lots but they are adjacent and you can easily walk between spaces.
If you park in the restaurants lot and someone double parks you or parks too tight don't fret...just go back inside and tell staff.. they will find the owner and ask them to move.
All in all one of my favorite places for a Chinese...
Read moreWe’ve really enjoyed food here in the past but recently it’s been hit and miss. Their main dishes are all mostly priced around $19.95 plus tax- that would be fine if every time we ordered something, the food would actually fill the container it is sent in. Once within the span of 2 weeks we ordered the same dish, the first time, it filled the container, the second time it was BARELY HALF FULL. The consistency is lacking from order to order. Also, even though we really like their tasty vegetarian spring rolls, the price of $7.50 plus tax for only two very small rolls seems excessive. EDIT:: Reduced to 2 stars—As of January 2023 we are sad to say they make their spring rolls differently, they do not taste fresh and are quite dry and tasteless now. Also the food quality is not as it used to be. We no longer eat here or order from here- and it’s too bad, the food used to...
Read moreThis place has really gone downhill which is unfortunate because they used to be tasty and good value. Was never the best around but the prices matched the quality. Now it’s expensive and tastes awful. We ordered several dishes including eggplant, scallop and egg tofu, minced beef and lettuce wrappers, deep fried salt and pepper squid.
Firstly the there were barely any scallops. It appears they took a total of 3-4 scallops and sliced them up to sprinkle throughout the dish.
The beef wrappers were a poorly cooked mess. The minced beef tasted like it was boiled and the veggies mushy. Also lacked flavour overall.
Finally the deep fried squid had a strange texture. Seemed like it was precooked in large batches and deep fried quickly to reheat prior to service. Tasted extremely stale.
Save your money and go elsewhere. Even if I paid half what I did I’d still be unhappy with...
