I wanted to try Kuku's out, for the first time, so my wife and I went over the menu, and made some choices. I tried to call them to place an order, and got a recording, saying to call back. I called a second time, and got the same recording. I decided to order through SkipTheDishes, as they are listed in the App. I went through the process, and when I tried to check out, the App said this restaurant is closed. I was pretty sure that was wrong, as the recording I reached said they were open till 10:00. I decided to try again to call, and looked them up again on my computer to refresh my memory of my order, and then I saw that I could just order right there from the website directly. Perfect!! It said about an hour for delivery.........so I ordered and got an automated callback right away to confirm. 90 minutes later, still nothing, so I called the store, and am told they have no record of my order, even though it was confirmed. He offers to send it out now.........I am not waiting.....I already waited 90 minutes, and we are hungry. I told him I tried SkipTheDishes as well, and he tells me that they stopped using that service........The place is still on the site !!!! I will never know if the food there is good, as I will NEVER try again. They need to get their...

Literally the worst Indian food I’ve had in my life. We ordered shahi paneer and malai kofta and they had the exact same gravy. Please note the gravy was very ketchup-y or may have been grocery store tomato soup cans. Dal makhni actually had chana dal and tasted more like a sad version of dhaba dal. The ‘garlic naan’ was the store brought bread-y naan slathered in butter, and the paratha was all maida. I’m struggling to remember worst Indian food in my life so far. The total of the order was messed too and when we calculated at home, we were overcharged by a fiver or so. (Yes i accommodated taxes) The ingredients seemed low quality wise (in addition to the worst possible taste) and paneer was definitely a little off. We threw away all the food (and believe me that’s the last thing we do in our household) Never going back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone! We ate very lame pizza slices from 7 eleven for dinner instead and they tasted better that this concoction. Wish I could rate with...

This is another one of those places where I don't get how folks could give less then 5 stars, let me elaborate!

Went in for the first time today cause I had a coupon, the owner (I assume) brought me a sample plate while I waited and everything on it was lovely (especially the fish, and I'm not a fish guy at all)

From what we ate from our order (the portions were super generous): The butter chicken: Ok I know it's a staple but damn, the sauce was sooo good. Creamy smooth with a gentle (mild +) spice that sneaks up on you after you've had a couple bites. Samosas: Amazing crust, lovely flavour and massive, I couldn't eat two, but I'll have another one tomorrow The little desert balls: Ok I can't comment cause I'm type 2 and didn't have em, but my 4 year old loved them as did my wife.

Will 100% be hitting this...

So, my family love East Indian food. And we eat a lot of it. So why we have not eaten from Kuku's until now is unexplainable...so I have remedied that issue. Last night we ordered 10 dishes and it was a MIGHTY triumph! Oh my, the chicken curry is off the charts, the butter chicken was different then any other, it has a nice spice and and kick. The paneer spring rolls and pakoras were amazing. And the price was very good. Oh and I ordered for delivery at 6:30pm and guess what...at 6:30pm a super nice dude arrived and handed off the hot nicely wrapped packages. Mission. Accomplished. It will be done again....and again.

I wish I can put five more stars. First the owners are fantastic, and you will be treated like part of the family, i wasn't treated like a customer. because they show care about my food allergy and being vegetarian. The food tastes amazing, and lot of sweets to choose. the service was 10 stars and the price was soooo cheap that i had to add $10 for the tip because i never imagined that it will be so cheap. and the food was 10 stars too. Here you will feel like your home with a family and eat an amazing lunch with them.

We ate samosa and Indian sweets (barfi, laddoo) and had tea there and it was quite good, except jalebi which we didn't like. Samosa was not spicy (yet tasty) and relatively big in size. It came with red chutney. Tea quantity was equivalent to a medium size drink we get in Tim Hortons. It's a takeout restaurant, but there's a tiny space for 2 in case you want to have a quick bite of Indian food. Pricing is reasonable. Humble staff, quick service. No dedicated parking space, but street parking is available.
