They have a chalk menu with no prices, there is a old menu with scratched out prices and then a number next to item which you then have to match to a sheet secured to the counter to decipher the price to the number of toppings. Nowhere did it state any policy's. Got a small meat lovers and asked if you can do substitutions, I was told yes. I removed the ham and bacon added black olives and mushrooms. The cost for the pizza should have been $18.18 plus $1.01 for GST for a total of $19.19. I was charged $21.15. I asked about the discrepancy and wasn't told if you remove something you don't automatically get two replacements. I was charged $2.00 for the replacement topics. They also didn't offer me the receipt they offered another customer her receipt, she declined. I requested my receipt and she had to look back and print a new one. So they stole two bucks from me. Read moreI may be a one off person who really didn't enjoy Oregano's since everyone else seems to love it. While the staff were pleasant, the food disappointed me. I really did not enjoy the calzone I ordered. First off, I thought it was very strange that a calzone was cut in strips. It made it quite difficult and annoying to eat as the cheese was oozing out of the side of the strips. I'm curious as to why cutting a calzone in strips seems to be standard practice here. A calzone is essentially a giant pizza pocket and shouldn't be pre cut. I asked for a side of marinara sauce and I received a half filled tiny plastic ramekin of marinara, can't remember how much they charged for it but it was too much for what I received. The calzones should come with this simply because the crust is so dry and unpleasant that you need to dip it to make it edible. I ordered a few weeks ago and have been debating writing a review but decided I should to warn other people who may be looking for an authentic calzone not to...
Read moreOrégano a is a great pizza. Probably one of the best in town and our family favourite. However, I’m giving a poor review d/t finding out today that they changed their ordering system. With a family of 4 we used to order half cheese and half pepperoni for example. Now to be able to have our family pizza night we have to order 4 different pizzas to accommodate our needs. This increases our coast by a lot which is disappointing. I am sick of retailers doing things like this not taking into consideration their customers needs. As soon as I found out about this I wrote an email to the company and ordered our usual from their competition ( Hot house). They also make great pizza and they are closer to where we live. I would love to continue supporting oreganos as I have done for many years but I’m not playing this game. I’m sure they have their reasons for doing this but it is certainly not based on what customers want or need. Very...
