This place is incredible! Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients prepared in-house: everything is delicious. We were there on a Friday for lunch and the table d'hôte featured inspired dishes such as chicken pie, a deli plate, hand-battered fish 'n chips with homemade tartar sauce. I had a wonderful and plentiful honey mustard chicken salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, brie and cheese bread. The breakfast/brunch dishes are delectable as well. Service is delightful! We highly recommend Sel, Poivre & Pommes.

Similar to many of the local breakfast restaurants in Montreal, Krokos had an extensive selection of breakfast meals and lots of combos (eggs + meat + pancakes/waffles of numerous flavors). It's located in a strip mall on Arthur Sauve just north of the 640 and relatively easy to get to with enough parking. Overall the food options were good as was the service...with the down side that we are seated in a small nook that had no visibility to the rest of the eatery. Enjoy!

First time here. We will come back and we both enjoyed our meal. Staff is cool. ---- Edit: one year later, administration changed. We are still back here and the new owners are amazing. It's easily our #1 go to breakfast joint. The service is impeccable and fast. The food are delicious and fresh. Shout out to Mano for being an amazing host and owner. Thank you!

My son and I went to eat for some family bonding. Our experience was at most : menhhh Very blahhhhh/dark atmosphere

Extremely average nothing to rave about. Our waiter Nick -looked bothered -over worked -not one smile or hallo -not one coffee refill at all -not one check up to see if we needed anything during the full hour In his MIA.. we asked for : waters (twice by two different waiters NOT Nick -napkins -twice sausage (one Nick and one another waiter) -and finally our bill .. never came ..we had to ask another waiter for it and paid with someone else. -and our table wasn't picked/cleaned up

With all these breakfast places and competition people look for more then just eggs... I can make my own breakfast...and a very good one I might add. It's not just about food but the full experience of it.

I've been there twice and both times I was left with the feeling of ... really another customer?!! Uuufff

I paid 62$ with tax and a ''socially forced tip'' of the bare minimum of 15% Cause I don't think he deserves any of it. Only to leave that placed feeling robed and disappointed 😞

That's all.... just blaahhhhh service

Ohhh and a little advice... don't cheap out on the chocolate syrup on the pancakes cause they're super dry left 90% of them ... it was like eating bread

Even my son said your pancakes are better .......

My wife and I were in the area, so I googled “places to eat”. Sel, Poivre Et Pommes popped up, so we decided to give it a try. Upon arriving, the place was packed and people were lined up waiting. That is always a great sign. It didn’t take long to be seated, and we were quickly greeted by our waitress who was courteous and efficient. The food was absolutely mind blowing. The breakfast potatoes, which can be ordered with Hollandaise sauce and cheese, were a revelation. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was exactly what we asked for, and even something as simple as toast, was amazing. The portions are not generous, they are enormous. If everything I just said wasn’t enough to make you want to come here, let me tell you about the waffle I had. It was as big as my head, covered in fresh berries, and smothered in Crème Anglaise. It may have been the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. As a foodie/food blogger, that is saying a lot. Not only is it the best breakfast in town, it may be the best breakfast anywhere. Do yourself a favour and come stuff your face with...

First experience at this restaurant was spectacular, waiter we had was on point. Wish I could say this about the second experience but it was horrible, we were sat down without menus, asked for coffee didn't get it till we had to follow up on both, never got a refill on water. As second timers we are not familiar with their menu, waitress was very unpleasant advised no onions on the main meal at which point a good waitress would advise that the other portion of the meal comes with onions. Received the bill to a surprise of being charged for maple sirup. The manager compted the maple sirup charge and the replacement patato order. Most of this could have been avoided if the waitress advised of a charge for maple sirup and when a dish without onions was requested be clear on the dish ingredients. Unfortunately this experience will make me think twice about having...
