Not to thrilled to write this review, considering I was a regular from about 2009 until I moved in 2016. I don't think I have ever seen a restaurant go as far downhill as this one.

My friend and I were seated at a dirty table, that the hostess had to clean off when she went to seat us. Now normally this would not be an issue, if they were incredibly busy or full, but there were multiple open seats available to us on the terrace.

The prices on the food has increased significantly and the quality has definitely decreased. Paying $33 for fish and chips is an insult, considering you can go to some upscale restaurants and get a 12oz New York Strip. The fries were heavily underseasoned as well. There was not any salt or pepper on the table to season our fries with either, so the option was eat the barely seasoned food, or send it back.

I do have to give huge kudos to our waiter though. He noticed that we have not been served while sitting at our table and came up to ask us if we have been served, and then took out order, even though our table was not one of the tables he was responsible for. Absolutely outstanding employee, and I hope he can find a better place of employment soon, he deserves way better than this establishment gives him.

If you want fish and chips, just go to a pub and pay 40% less. If you are willing to pay for seafood, go to any moderately upscale restaurant, and you will most likely get better for the same price or...

I recently visited Peter’s Cape Cod for the first time, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. The experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived.

The hostess appeared disinterested in doing her job. We requested multiple times for the outdoor seating area to be wiped down, but she only did so reluctantly after repeated asks. This lack of basic hospitality was frustrating, especially as we were simply asking for a clean place to sit.

The situation worsened when we attempted to pay with a prepaid Vanilla credit card. Rather than assisting us, the hostess laughed at us when we tried to explain how the card could be used if split across two payments. She insisted it was a “different system,” even though that clearly wasn’t the issue — she just didn’t want to help

The lobster roll was a joke. Wasn’t filled and tasted like it spoiled.

The entire interaction left us feeling unwelcome and dismissed. Customer service should never make guests feel like a burden, and unfortunately, that’s exactly how we felt here.

I hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses the staff’s approach to customer service. She was lazy and looked like she didn’t want to be there. Only after did, she understand that if we didn’t sit outside, we were going to leave. Did she decide to clean up the space...

I too went to Pete's Cape Cod on Saturday night. Sat outside on the upper level. Am I there for a concert or to eat ? Music was way too loud. Waiter made a few personal suggestions and I chose the Grilled Cod and a Caesar Salad as an appetizer along with a Blood Caesar.

  1. Bloody Caesar was lacking in seasoning and maybe a thimble of Vodka in there, but no more
  2. Caesar Salad was drenched in dressing & I prefer more dressing than the norm.
  3. Grilled Cod came with a mini side of greens, I chose half fries and half rice. Fries were not good (previously frozen) and rice weas tasteless. Along with came Tartar Sauce. Sure mask the tasteless fish with tartar sauce, rather than some fish seasoning. Recap: Food: Zero and I'm not being too harsh Atmosphere: Perhaps they can't spend too much money on the surroundings or that's just what their clientele demands. Sad Wait Staff & Hostess: Our waiter was doing the best he could but they were clearly short short staff. He was ok. Hostess was just plain f.... rude. When we both addressed her in English, she clearly wouldn't reciprocate. This is just and solely a business statement and should not be confused as anything else,...

Went for supper at peters cape cod in ste Anne de Bellevue last night for supper! Worse service ever! Food mediocre! None of the employees were wearing masks properly - some below their noses some under their chin - owner didn't even have a mask - our server pulled his down below his mouth to talk to us! 3 older couples - ordered wine - table next to us with 3 young girls got ice bucket and pour service - he left ours on the table no ice no bucket - worse service I have ever experienced in a restaurant! Reflected everything in his tip and he came chasing after me screaming at me that I was supposed to leave at least 15% tip! Chased me all the way outside screaming at me in the street! Will never go back and will not recommend! Oh and when I mentioned that he wasn't wearing his mask his reply was "I have to breathe" so sad!!!

Company of 10 including 2 young children were dining indoor on a Saturday evening. We have been visiting the same restaurant for years for out of town guests or on special events. Today, the seniors in the group ordered their favourite: lobster rolls and fish & chips….No disappointment there. Portion of the mussels was huge but some had sands in it. The white source is unimpressive. Cajun catfish was overcook a bit. Services at the reception was just lukewarm and unhelpful even we had a senior in a walker. The waitress was also barely satisfactory. Aside from taking our orders and delivering it, we hardly see the waitress came by (we had to get our own pitcher of water to refill our glasses). Considering the place was not really busy on a weekend dinner period, we probably won’t return for a while.
