Harvey's — Restaurant in Sarnia

If it wasn't for the alright (meh) burger, they would not have gotten any points... And I like their gravy. When I walked in, there was noone ahead of me in line. 6 minutes later my order (Angus combo and chicken strip combo) was taken after repeating everything twice. I was not acknowledged.. there was no "I'll be right with you". I felt bad for over a dozen people behind me lined up out the door because Reeu cared more about the line of pickles on a burger than the line out the door. The lack of teamwork and zero communication.. I don't know.. Noone (staff) helping or talking to eachother. Thanks for the extra 2 napkins I had to ask for because she only gave me 2 in the bag. I watched a father n son (I'm guessing) leave after not being acknowledged n waiting for 10 minutes to even have their order taken. Twenty Eight minutes later I was out the door with my over cooked chicken strips, cold onion rings and 2 napkins... don't ask for more napkins because Reeu does not like to give more than two. By the way.. the times are accurate because that's the only thing I could do during my long wait after and after watching all the hungry people getting frustrated. Now I'm going to call and see if they're going to do anything about my burnt chicken fingers (they're not cheap). Perhaps better management or A manager could fix things and make...

I enjoyed my visit here for the most part...the food was great (when we finally got to order...as it was a busy night and there was a huge line of people!!). The staff were also pretty friendly as well!! The only thing I was not impressed with was their dining area (lounge area) & the area where you grab your condiments & such. It was disgusting!! I understand what it is like to work fast food during a rush, but there was NO reasonable excuse for it as there was 2 other people just walking around aimlessly behind the counter🤦‍♀️ We did not end up dining in for the record!! Other than that particular issue (and who knows maybe they were just having an off day? We all do sometimes we are honest enough!!) I would recommend this fast food place to everyone that wants a really good burger & fries/onion rings with a nice frozen strawberry milkshake!!...

I'll start by saying the middle aged man and young girl that served us were very polite and friendly. The discomfort came from who seemed to be a manager as she continually bossed her co-workers around to the point of micro managing. "Make sure you put the lid on" "don't put them in the wrong bags". It was actually very uncomfortable to be there and witness it. She even yelled at a girl who was cleaning a bathroom saying she needs her back on the floor....proceeded to ask her if she washed her hands and then accused her of not doing so.

It was an unbelievably awkward situation and I felt awful for her employees. I think this individual needs to be trained on how to be a leader or learn not to be so domineering and crazy. Sunday...
