My visit to Bad Dog in Sarnia was a showcase of the restaurant’s dedication to service and a pleasant dining atmosphere. The staff were swift to seat us at our table for two amidst a lively crowd, reflecting their commitment to customer care.
The service was the highlight of the evening, with our server exemplifying professionalism and attentiveness. Although the Jack Daniels burger I ordered was overcooked and modest in size compared to the bun, the server’s response was proactive and considerate. She acknowledged the feedback, which they are actively working to improve, and offered a discount on the burger, a gesture that I greatly appreciated.
A small oversight was the absence of cutlery at our table, but this was quickly addressed upon request. This minor issue did not overshadow the overall positive experience, thanks to the staff’s prompt and courteous service.
The ambiance at Bad Dog was inviting, contributing to a cozy dining experience. The rest of the meal was enjoyable, and the restaurant’s openness to constructive feedback is commendable, indicating their pursuit of culinary excellence.
In summary, Bad Dog is a charming spot in Sarnia where the quality of service and the warmth of the environment stand out. Despite a few small areas for improvement, the staff’s eagerness to ensure customer satisfaction made my visit a memorable one. I recommend Bad Dog to those seeking a restaurant that cares deeply about its patrons’ dining experience and is dedicated to serving quality food with a smile.
Id definitely come back once that burger...
Read moreFirst time at Bad dogs in Sarnia and expected more. Considering the good reviews and how this place is always packed I thought it would be better than it was. We made reservations and when we showed up no one greeted us at the door for a good 5 minutes which isn't typical at any restaurant. The owner later came over and we told him we had reservations and the name it was under, he looked around the restaurant and we pointed out our seat that had our name on it and he said ok and we seated ourselves. He didn't walk us over with menus and tell us who our server would be like a hostess would do. When our server did come over she was great and gave us excellent service, wish I remembered her name to recommend her. The whole time we were at the restaurant though we just observed the owner running around in circles literally doing nothing. If I could recommend something to him it would be don't micro manage your staff, they know what they are doing. Also if your going to be greeting people and seating them when they come in focus only on that and help only when needed. The food is OK though. I had the perogies and they don't seem homemade that's for sure, the fried raviolis were delicious though but a little...
Read moreCalled in the morning to make reservations at 530. Asked politely because it was my birthday if it would be possible to sit at a booth by the window. Told that would be no problem. Arrived at 530 for our reservation. All booths were taken. The hostess approached my husband and I. I told her about our reservation and she said that she had the request to sit by the window but some tables were taking longer and once the one table was done we could sit there. She also mentioned they had their bill. My husband and I sat near the booth and waited. We ordered drinks but politely told our waitress I'd like to wait to order food until we moved. She agreed that would be no problem. So at 530 I waited. I also noticed they have not received their bill. Our drinks arrived and we continued to wait. 545 I said that in 5 minutes we can leave. 5 minutes came. No one came to apologize or reassure us they would be leaving soon. Now if they told me on the phone they could not accommodate this request then sure. But don't take my reservation and agree to just disappoint me. Anyway, I am sad cause I genuinely enjoy the food but not...
